If I have to do the vampire cure one more time I'm giving up on this game.

What cure? Make sure if you are fighting vampires to check your status afterward and use Cure Disease if you have the vampire blood disease. I had to use Cure Disease potion about 5 times during the Dawngard expansion. After you beat it you wont see many vampires anymore.

Filling a soul gem and taking it to the guy who does the ritual.

3 times already I've been turned and I had just turned down the chance to become one during a quest.

Didn't Oblivion fix it so you had a one time cure or something?

I just use a cure disease potion soon as i know it says i contacted the vampire disease to avoid turning into one. it cures it right away and you dont have to worry about it.

That what a follower is for drop everything into a chest and then tell them emptily it they have no carry limilt when you do that.

After a certain point, I usually just stick to only picking up light, high value items- rings, necklaces, etc. I don't even bother with weapons and armor for the most part.

What a silly question!

Is the sky still blue? Are fart jokes still funny? Do I still cry at the end of Titanic? Does Dolly Parton sleep on her back?

Pro-tip: The answer is YES.

Holy crap... it only took like a month for someone to figure out that was funny! Thanks @Frozpot :p

That is a pretty cool list, found out some things i never knew before and i have played this alot. May have to pick it back up again on PC.

Granted, nothing is happening on screen, it's still amazing that this is real-time.

Ha! I use that ENB. (PC screenshots thread for pics)
I said it before that NLA is the most realistic ENB I personally have used....and I've used alot of them.

I think it's just insane how much work is put into some mods for what I would imagine is little to no money. I guess something like patreon could fix that if you were a popular modder though.

I played with pretty much most of those and once I finally got it all working and began to actually play the game, I was instantly bored again by the lifeless Bethesda world.

You can install all the pretty mods in the world for Skyrim, literally spanning hours getting it all set up, but then you come to the realization that you are still playing Skyrim.

I still have alot of fun with skyrim and love being able to mod it, never had a pc good enough to do anything like that before. I also been modding my fallout new vegas game alot now too.

Part 1:1 Quests - Locations and Landmasses

Hello! I've made this whole series because I felt like a lot of the lists on r/Skyrimmods generally ended up being a circle jerk of the same 4-5 mods, ESPECIALLY with quests. I've compiled a huge list almost exclusively for content that manages to mostly play nice together and wanted to share. This is Part 1 of the Quests and Adventures portion. These adventures add an entirely new location, or locations, for you to adventure in. Some may not offer much past the main quest, while others will include sidequests, but all of them allow you to leave Skyrim “proper” and visit either a new province or an island a la Dragonborn. You’ll notice mods that add a new location off the map but still claim to be in Skyrim are absent. You’ll also notice that “Voice Acting” is missing in each pithy criticism section. Calling it “hit or miss” started feeling like a broken record so I took it out. If you’re used to the diversity of hardware and voices that a Friday raid night in WoW over Skype or Mumble brought, you’ll be fine. If you can’t stand it when someone doesn’t sound like they’re in a recording studio with a professional director, you’re in for a world of misery. If you’re somewhere in the middle (Hi!) you can appreciate the work put in without being enthralled by it. As always, if you download a mod you thoroughly enjoyed, let the author know on Nexus or the Workshop with an endorsement or even a donation!
The Moonpath to Elsweyr

(http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9782/) Hailed as one of the first big quest mods – if not the first depending on who you ask. Travel to the jungles and badlands of Elsweyr as part of a Khajiit Caravan! Ride an Airship! It meant more when all we had was Skyrim and its scenery but the aesthetics of traveling to a land that isn’t all snow and stone (and pretty forests) of Skyrim is a nice break. Pithy Criticism: Very linear. You’re basically moving from set to set in a grand play. If you don’t like linear-sandbox games like Fable you’ll probably feel yanked along the whole time.
Wyrmstooth
8mLTZmq.jpg

(http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25704/) Partake in a dragon hunt that leads you from Falkreath to the Imperial Mining Settlement on the island of Wyrmstooth! Participate as a party member in a large dungeon crawl with unique moments and interesting designs. Probably my favorite. The land design is great, the characters are generally likeable and several are quite unique. Side-quests out the wazoo. Nods and references to the province of Skyrim as a whole makes it feel integrated into the main world rather than a one-off. Pithy Criticism: The main quest to come to the island can feel like a Macguffin to get you there to see it. Dungeon crawling with 3+ more NPCs (more if you bring followers) that are set to very aggressive can make you feel pretty useless outside of the bigger battles.
The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal

(http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64651/) The Last Dragonborn has been chosen as the new owner of the Gray Cowl. Steal ANYTHING to catch its attention, and then prepare for a long journey that takes you out of Skyrim and into neighboring Hammerfell. MannyGT does good work when it comes to design set-pieces and puzzles, and the reward (The Cowl itself) belongs in any true Thief / Assassin’s armory. Pithy Criticism: Hammerfell looks very clean and shiny for a desert community, and you’ll need to use magic a few times if you’re into a pure thief/assassination build (I maintain Illusion is a valid skill for both of those, though.) MINOR SPOILER: If you were really attached to your Champion of Cyrodiil from Oblivion and Shivering Isles the ending might annoy you.
Falskaar

(http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37994/) A huge new landmass to explore. Sidequests, dungeons to stomp around in. If you aren’t the type to be put off easily by the points in “Pithy Criticism” you’ll be fine. Pithy Criticism: The ending can kind of feel abrupt and unfulfilling, and the landscape follows a “more of Skyrim” format. BONUS PRO-TIP: Mention this mod on r/Skyrimmods if you want to see how much a community can be galvanized for or against a single project.
The Shroud of Jotunheim
ZIwYt3X.jpg

(http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32120/) Travel to a distant island at the behest of a shadowy follower of Meridia to combat an ancient evil. Save Tamriel! Again! One part standard issue adventure, one part plot of intrigue, and a dash of interesting puzzles. Pithy Criticism: Depending on what you have in your load order, others have complained of lag in areas.
Beyond Reach

(http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48467/) Travel past the Reach in Skyrim and into the Reach area of eastern High Rock. Intrigue! Death! Dreariness! Plague! This one is a hidden gem of sorts – you’ll wonder why you haven't heard of this one more often. Great aesthetics, questlines, and puzzles. The area feels very much like it has its own personality and not just an extension of Skyrim, even while being the size of approximately three Holds. Pithy Criticism: There’s a joke character with a joke quest that will more than likely offend a lot of people. You have to be a pretty obsessive explorer to find it, though. If you can’t laugh off insensitive jokes this’ll probably make you livid. (You can delete him with the console without consequence.)

Pit Fighter: Travels
uuQFsEU.jpg

(http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=125029519) Pit Fighter is here by technicality, but still a load of fun. Arena combat in Skyrim’s cities, strongholds, and even on the high seas. With Travels it ventures to the other provinces to fight champions abroad, thus fulfilling the “Leaving Skyrim” rule. Lots of fun if you just want to get into some combat scenarios without having to go find one. Nice to see small bits of other provinces, it’s got a few sidequests and new items, and no sense of grand scheme, redemption arc, or life on the line (other than yours) to guide you by the nose. Pithy Criticism: For "immersion" purposes you have to travel to a waiting area before and after the fight. If you suffer from loading screen fatigue from too many in a row, this could be something you pick up and put down often.

Sounds good. It would be nice to get quest mods like these on console for Fallout 4. Kind of doubt it, but here's hoping.
