Over two years ago I asked who was going to be the winner of The Game of RPG Thrones among all the upcoming role playing titles. Gee,guess who won?

It's still awesome regardless of the platform and mods. It's the one game I feel terrible about trading in when moving to next gen, so much I never finished despite the dozens and dozens of hours I sunk in.

I don't elder scrolls games age at all. Morrowind is still an awesome game.

I think so, although I'd have to play it again to be sure, and I don't have 4 months to spare.

This is one of those games that I bought on day one, but never actually got around to playing. I still own it though.

Fallout 3 would be my favorite rpg this gen. Skyrim is fantastic, but the main quest never really drew me in. I spent days and days exploring and leveling up though. Such a fun sandbox.

I'm prolly 1/3 of the way through the main quest myself and I'm bout 120 hrs into it. Like you, I'm just off exploring and what not, that's what makes the game so fun IMHO.

On PC, yes. Thanks to mods.

This. Just the visual mods alone keep it amazing. Then you've got the hundreds of UI and game play tweak mods, armor, weapons and last but certainly not least the DLC type of mods that add whole new stories with hours upon hours of play time.

Oh, and in all seriousness....Skyrim is not inferior in every way, lol, not even close....only in a few areas is it inferior.

Doesn't matter because ALL TES games are inferior to Fallout 3 and Fallout NV.

So your "debate" is useless.

I'm a bit upset with myself that I still haven't really gotten into the game yet. I think it's mainly because I started it at a busy time and then a lot of other games came out that I wanted to play so this got pushed on the back burner. Not getting rid of my 360 even when I get my X1, so maybe I'll get back into it eventually. I'm more of a fan of Fallout games anyway though. I think the back story/atmosphere is a lot better.

Just bought the game for $15 last week, still waiting for it to arrive through... Can't wait... I'm going to have a blast playing this game while all of you bickering on and on about next gen systems and games...

Oh yeah it's still awesome, it's still one of the best games I've ever played.

No doubt about it. Skyrim is still as amazing today as it was when it released 2 years ago. The 360 version is still the best way to experience the game.

You have to like bethsoft games. If you do, Skyrim is amongst the best of this generation. It's one of those games, much like Fallout 3, that I will return to each 18 months and replay it.

The day bethsoft ever stops making open-world RPGs like this is likely the day I hang up my video-game gloves, unless someone else comes around and makes something even comparable (as of yet, that has NOT happened).
