Sonic Movie

Must be the only person in the world who doesn't think this will be as bad as it seems. I mean, it'll probably suck, but at least it seems like it's not taking itself seriously?

Giving it the benefit of the doubt for the cast alone. COME AT ME

I'll be seeing it.

Could be fun. The design was simply terrible
That kind of nails it. I'm actually really excited for Jim Carrey as Eggman. Detective Pikachu kind of nailed the whole "keep the original design, but texture it to match the world" thing down. Sonic just looks out place and like some grotesque experiment.

Please just make the movie without real world people.
As a kid, the only human in Sonic games was Robotnik/Eggman. The comics and cartoons were really fun back then too. Introducing more humans has always been nothing by awkward. I think it was the Dreamcast era that did it. For some reason, somebody thought that was a good idea. That's when majority of my interest went out the door for Sonic.

I've always been a Felix the Cat fan, and as much as I love Sonic, he's never been terribly original... nor his adversaries. He's also had the same fate of terrible, declining revitalization attempts over the years.

Of course, I will probably see the Sonic movie, but it kind of gives me the "Rocky and Bullwinkle" live-action heebie geebies.

Pushed back to next year. That budget is going to get a nasty bump

Gotta love the internet. They tear your movie a new one before it’s even released.

I was ok with the design, he needs to look weird cos he’s alien... but I guess if I had to say anything negative it was just his body was too human. This just looks like a fun self aware movie and my niece was cool with it.
