Sony 800E 4 k TV anyone own it

Don't have it but this site usually has good reviews. Not sure what price you can get it for but if you can swing it the 900e is one of the best right now. 55" from Best Buy is about $1200.

Not sure where you are looking to buy or what the price of the 800e is there, but I'll include this TV as well. At least going by Amazon pricing it is about the same and it scores a lot better for HDR movies/gaming.

I know that all the Sonys have the best upscaling regardless of model.
Black uniformity and contrast sèem to be its biggest short comings.

Best you can do on a budget is the TCL P607. I believe its $600 USD for 55 inch.
