I have 0 faith in this actually being good, but I also hope it is cuz why not?
Related, I finally rode the Disneyland ver. of Space Mountain a few years ago, and I felt like my childhood was gyped, and both that ride and Pirates are both easily 10X better in CA. They also still have Mr Toad's Wild Ride, which they removed from Magic Kingdom years ago... Just saying.
As I've gotten older, I've really learned to respect that these parks are not unlike VR experiences of their day. Walt was really such a genius, and saw things very differently than anyone of that time. 1955!... if he hadn't dreamed it, who would have?
Anyway, yeah, this movie will probably suck. Lol. The ride needs no story... but I'd love to be wrong.
