No plan to get one unless I see a really good deal on one of these as I don't really need the extra space since I usually just delete and redownload the games I'm currently playing.

In no particular order:

Samsung 980 Pro
WD Black SN850
Gigabyte Aorus 7000s
Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus
Corsair MP600 Pro
Crucial P5 Plus

Won't bother unless most games start being over 100GB. I'd go with the Samsung as I've had good luck with them for PC.

Is that a good price for those of the great white north?

The lowest that particular model has been is $170 CAD on Amazon Canada which is equivalent to that USD price now.

Doesn't meet minimum recommended specs though for the PS5 😔

Woah, what, 76 is equivalent to 170? And you got to pay shipping and import fees, lame…. I’m sorry

$169 CAD / $132 USD for a 1 TB with heatsink is getting close to the price I want ... Might still wait for black Friday lol.

These fit the speed specs and are actually great prices & on sale as they also come with a compatible heatsink!

Quick specs: read/write speeds of up to 7400/6800MB per second.

In-store pickup and shipping possible.

1TB $169 CAD/$132 USD : https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX00118290
2TB: $319 CAD/$250 USD: https://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX00118291

Video Test (this has the fat version, the one on sale linked is the SLIM/BLADE which fits perfectly in ps5):

What's the cheapest 1TB drive that will be fast enough and can be purchased in the United States of America?

It shows $79.99 for me. It's probably too slow for PS5, but I need 2 of those for my laptop and desktop.
