I'd rather be playing Killer Instinct.

I thought the whole point of a subscription service would be that you paid for the service and got to play the games they had on offer, this is basically making payments on a console and still having to buy every game you play but not actually getting to own any of it.

That's how I perceive it as well...but apparently you do get some free games (probably shovelware).

My issue with this presentation was that they didn't give any demo of it actually working. That doesn't raise any red flags?!

There is a free subscription, but who knows if they’ll throttle that back

Some free games sure, none of them will be new though, you already get free games with XBLG and PSN+ this whole thing just seems like a poorly thought out idea, doesn't help that they made that lying sack of crap Harrison the face of the project.

That's the thing, they can't really show it in a believable way because it'll always be in a highly controlled environment with optimal conditions.

That's incredibly stupid. Nobody could possibly think that's a good idea, I say, as I know full well Apple will probably do the same thing in six months and millions will fork over the money to get in on the ground floor.

The free sub only gets you 1080p, HDR, and 60 FPS. The 9.99 gives you up to 4K, HDR, and 60 FPS Plus Destiny 2: The Collection (which is everything for d2: Year 1 and all expansions, forsaken(annual pass), and shadowkeep(annual pass).

When will companies learn that having analog sticks that are parallel with each other are absolutely dreadful?

I kinda have to agree.
He's way off on what most people in the US have for internet speeds, as of 2017 the average connection was 18.7mbps lol. I'm sure the average connection in big cities is much faster but it's also pretty expensive. I have a 300mbps connection and it costs me around $100 a month.

Otherwise pretty solid video.

Google Stadia is even worse than DD only and 24 hour check in's. Goes to show how many gamers are brainwashed.

I live outside of town in a medium city in the middle of Texas, and I just got fiber. I pay 80 for 250, but I could go as high 1Gbs for a hundo...

Nice, I live in LA county about 13 miles from downtown LA, it's crazy how internet speeds differ so much from place to place. I know a long time ago Verizon who was my DSL provider was promising to put FIOS in our area, well they ended up cancelling that plan because it costs so much to build out and now they aren't even doing wired internet or phone service in my area anymore. I switched to Time Warner a few years ago and the service was much faster and also more reliable than my DSL which always went out of service when it rained lol, TW is now Spectrum and the service where I live is really reliable but I do hear a lot of complaints from people who have them in other areas.
