I was in LA a couple weeks ago. Went to Bad Robot (JJ’s place) in Santa Monica. It’s like Willy Wonka of filmmaking, amazing!
Didn't Rogue One explain that the Death Star operated using these same crystals?
Not sure if there is something special about how Force users interact with these crystals or what it could mean to fling Palpatine into a giant light saber crystal.
I can’t recall, I do remember abrams or someone stating that star killer base/planet used them to control/aid with targeting and why the beams seem to bend
