Star Wars IX - The Rise Of Skywalker ** Contains Spoilers** Enter at your own risk!

I quite liked it. There was some great scenes in it. I really liked the fight between Kylo and Rey with the waves crashing in all around them. Nice to see Luke and Han get in for a few minutes as well.

If anything it just showed up TLJ to be an even worse movie. They barely used the characters from it (Rose had about 2 mins screen time) and they make one very forced reference to the the call that no one answered. And what about the end of the rebellion? and the weapons dealers? Damn, the TLJ really was the worst.

Saw it, enjoyed the most out of the three for sure. Less wasteful plot, but stuff like teasing Chewie's death felt pointless and derivative. I had this constant feeling of like/dislike during this movie. Overall, this trilogy was a bit of a disappointment to me. I feel like Disney have milked this series way too hard.

yeah I felt like Chewie’s death was a little forced. ‘He is dead’, 2 mins later, ‘he’s not dead’
they should have dragged it out a little more........

Ok after h8ing the previous 2 movies I finally watched the 4K/BR....

Much better than the previous (Disney) movies. I actually like the direction they went and am sad we get no more of it.
Should of been in Dolby Vision but that's a minor gripe.

Issue wasn't him being a recluse. It was him nearly giving into the dark side and not acting at all like the character is shown in 3 films plus all the other media he appeared in.
Also the fact they tried to turn SW into a Marvel style film.

If movie got fleshed out by adding 2h more, it prob would've made it great. It wraps up at the speed of light and it just feels empty when the credits roll.
As already pointed out, VIII left the new trilogy at such a strange place that just to undo it would've taken a movie in itself.

i liked eight, but u do feel it was missing filler and left some cool questions open that sadly were left there... but perhaps Jedi fallen order 2 will answer them
