It'll have them. The whole "Delayed to polish" excuse is pretty much a proven lie from devs. It is PR speak.
It really just comes down to the complexity of creating games. I listened to a podcast with David Jaffe (original God of War creator) and he was talking about how when you film a movie, having to reshoot the ending doesn't mean having to completely redo the beginning, but with a videogame you could find a bug during the final QC process and fixing it "breaks" the engine running the entire game, etc.

We have seen time and time again this excuse be used just for the games to release unpolished. So, no, not buying that as an excuse for this BS excuse for delays.

Who would have thought it was being delayed again? lol. Good on them for delaying it if they felt it needed it though, a new IP only gets one debut and too many games launch in rough shape as it is. Being a Bethesda game, it'll likely still be buggy but hopefully it will just be minor things that don't really matter.

It has been reportedly playable start to finish for a while now.

I think it is likely more a push from MS to achieve a higher level of polish at release, which Bethesda hasn't exactly been known for.

That's a lot of bugs to be squashed 😛

Let's see how it fares in September.

Are people acting like certain games don't release with bugs?
Don't think anyone said that, I said too many games launch in rough shape as it is. Be honest though Bethesda RPG's pre MS ownership always had a ton of bugs, it's not likely to change.

My upcoming PTO request:

"I will pre-emptively be getting 'COVID' the evening of September 5th, it will take atleast a full week to heal from."
And you still won't finish it by then. You'll have to REALLY go out and get COVID just to hit the half way mark! There's easier ways to do this bro.

For example...I have a car! How high is your pain threshold??

Oh you mean like every game at launch?
Yeah, I don't understand these videos except to state the obvious and speculation. Unless they have a scoop, they don't know. However, everyone knows and sort of embraces the bit of jankiness Bethesda games are known for. Plus, games of late just tend to ship with some issues. I'm not saying it's exceptable. Just saying it the culture these days. Best way to avoid this, is to wait. But who's going to do that?

Me, i'll wait....for a whole different reason, though.

A lot of people sure seem upset a game they think is going to be a buggy mess isn't coming to other consoles.

Its a Bethesda RPG. Its going to be buggy and clunky in some places. And perhaps poorly written in some places. I'm also some how going to put in 100+ hours and that's before the mods.
