Stopped reading here. Didn't take long for the BS to start.

"The loading situation makes the Xbox Series X's advanced, Velocity Architecture-infused PCIe 4.0 SSD feel like a mechanical hard drive in comparison to something like the PlayStation 5's ultra-fast SSD tech. Starfield fares better on PC, which is rightly so considering my setup includes a 4TB Sabrent Rocket Plus SSD that can achieve up to 7.1GB/sec speeds."

1. The loading times are small.
2. PS5's SM2 loadtimes are about the same.

I don't know how long the loading times are on Xbox but even on the PC, it was pretty frequent and slightly peeving as even going into a store within New Atlantis and the train commuting between hubs took 1-3 second load times on a high end PC rig.

Yah, Starfield is alright. IMO it's the least impressive game by Bethesda aside from FO76. The load times are quick, but the bad outweighs the good. Having to load is frequent.

The Creation mod kit can't come soon enough. I think once that is released, things may change for the better. There's a few AI difficulty mods and some UI mods that do the game some justice.

Could this person be more full of s***? Of course you posted this.

His news and articles are often posted around here and other gaming forums. It's a pretty comprehensive look from his perspective and experience with the game.

The last few weeks with all the bias and trolling, I've just moved past it. It's a lot easier when you just don't let it get to you. It's not worth it.
I can't do this anymore. Listen to the console warriors and trolls. I just can't. I was thinking last night when I was watching TV that none of this drama is in my life when I am away from Union and social media. None of it. Then I began to think, if I just bought games on the Xbox and PS Store, I wouldn't know who the developers are, if games were exclusive, if DLC was missing from platform vs. another platform. I would just play and wouldn't take in any of the tribalism and toxicity.

It's fine once you accept the Dreamcast is the best console ever and gaming peaked in the late 90s/ early 00s before it went down a dark path of greed.

I wish you had some sort of dialogue with a former Love interest in New game+.

Just had a mission I didn't experience in my first play with a bunch of historical figures. One is now apart of my crew.

I hear where you are coming from.

I've done the same with political talk radio. That went nowhere and was the same speculating and opinions that was just to sensationalize the discussion.

I just became more angry listening to it then anything else.

I try to limit my time with those threads in here, as well. I feel for any response I give, there's probably 10 more tweets that can be copy and pasted. It's just not worth it.

I have just removed all gaming from my Twitter, which now is mostly local news, f*** around and find out, sports and cars. It took me all morning to block and unfollow like 1000 gaming accounts. I have NONE left. I have now closed my Gaf, Resetera, Icon-Era, GameFaqs accounts. I just tried to close another gaming forum account but it's giving me a 505 error.

This is the only forum I really go to. I do go to Reddit now and then, but I don't really engage.

Yep. This is the only gaming site for me. I use to listen to GiantBomb until they original crew broke up.

I do follow a few gaming devs and sites for news. I stay away from those that spew Xbox vs. PS tweets.

I have Reddit, but I am not connected to any gaming there. Reddit shows up a lot when I am Google searching for help with spreadsheet formulas, Google Docs/Sheets questions and similar, so I have an account for that.

I could never leave here. It's my home away from home.

Ignore list the idiots here. Dried on ignore is a blessing.

On Twitter I just follow companies and don't read the comments.

I just learn to laugh at all the nonsense in gaming. It isn't just the platform wars, but just a general toxic negativity.

We just had one of the best years in gaming in many, many years, yet reading online, you'd think every game was "broken". It is just morons who want to cry and whine about everything and anything.

I swear there's more people out there arguing about video games than actually playing them.

Just ignore most of it and don't listen to the worst of it.

2023 has been fantastic and future years could be even better for gaming.

I made it better by closing my other gaming forum accounts and removing all the people I followed on Twitter. Today felt great after that. Now I can just focus on Union and actual gaming. 2024 will be even better for me now.
