That’s the thing people shouldn’t have to ignore Dried here. He does enough that the mods should do something about it by now, but they don’t. He loves to keep the console wars going by posting Twitter and news stories all the time of that dumb s***. Gaming news is one thing, the constant Twitter talking head or click bait story posting is played out and should end.

I stay away from gaming and politics on social media. Just follow sports, entertainment, and local news. This place is the only gaming thing I follow or post in (besides a gaming podcast Discord I’m in but people don’t post much there).

I moved to Instagram too and I find it to be a lot less drama, not just with gaming but everything. Like was said, ignore the comments. I follow a bunch of companies and a few legit journalists and that's it. I don't know what it is about Insta, but it is a completely different vibe. Instagram is actually enjoyable to scroll. Twitter has just always had that weird vibe to it.

When I scroll Instagram, I never see comments unless I specifically drill down into them. I never had anything gaming related on my Instagram. It's always been chicks, golf, football and cars.

I can't remember the exact date I joined TXB, but it was like after we had all abandoned the Big Blue Box forum around the Fable 1 release. I used to go back and forth quite a bit with people, make my case, have my little sources. At some point life caught up with me and I just didn't have the stomach for it anymore.

In hindsight, it wasn't the worst thing in the world to be emersed in geek culture, I felt good about it for a long time.
