What about during antman? Like didn’t they preview a trailer for a few games that way before?
Just seems like a placeholder to me. The official info is first half of the year.
Hyperbolic. No single game makes or breaks a console.
However, I do agree that it needs to deliver. After a baron 2022 and a slow 2021 Xbox needs 2023 to go well.
If it makes June 2023, prepare for patches at least until the end of the year. But I'm sure people won't care too much if the game is good unless they are actually game breaking.
This is no different than most huge RPG games, though, or games in general really.
I thought it was delayed from 11/11/22 to patch the game. It was already playable from beginning to end in 2021.
I believe cyber punk was like that too. Still needed a ton of patches to help.
Is Starfield current gen only and PC? If so maybe that will help with focused optimizations.
This has nothing to do with Cyberpunk. Might as well say God of War would have been buggy after the 1 year delay to iron out bugs.
Writing on the Starfield channel of Bethesda’s official Discord, the developer’s community manager, ‘VaultOfDaedalus’ says “we’ll have more info to share on the showcase when it’s ready to be, still sorting stuff out. I know that’s not the answer you want, but nothing specific is being withheld.”
