You tell us.

Because as of right now there is no reason to think that.
A string of bad news in the industry as of late. Last of Us Part 1 PC was a mess at launch. Redfall launching at 30 fps. Suicide Squad (previously set to launch next month) delayed to next year. Layoffs galore.

Given how jaded I am with Xbox management style, I'm not sure what to expect out of Starfield. Still I'm hopeful for the best.

I have never really played a Bethesda game. I have Skyrim and Oblivion, but I have like an hour of play time in them. I had been more about games that were not taking place ages ago. Which is why Starfield appeals to me. But now after the years I have a greater appreciate for the era that Skyrim and Oblivion take place, that I look forward to starting them over and checking those out as well.

Skyrim with the cheap upgraded version is awesome now with extra content and better graphics. Plus instant load times. Check that s*** out.

I'm currently hooked on No Man's Sky right now. And I'm not saying I want Starfield to do exactly what NMS is doing. But I hope Bethesda takes some notes for exploration and upgrades.

Then again, I've read there's a skill tree in Starfield so that's most likely how that game will handle upgrades. But it'll be cool if they did something like NMS does where you have to first find the blueprint for an upgrade and then get the materials needed to build it. I think that's much more satisfying than just checking a box for a new ability.

I really hope Bethesda knocks this one out of the park. I need another epic/expansive space game in my life.

The crafting in this works similar to NMS.

First you have to research which costs resources, then you unlock the blue-print, then craft it with the stated resources. This goes for armour, weapons, weapon mods, equipment mods, Ship parts, base structure parts, seemingly everything. There are 5 or 6 fields to research in.

8 years dev time...should be bug free but it's Bethesda.
There will be bugs.

Quick question for anyone:

I'm on OG Xbox One (not even sure if Starfield is gonna work on that?)

vs.

Intel i9 9900k, 1070ti, 16GB RAM, 970evo+

at 1080p, probably PC?

Starfield is Series x/s and pc. They haven’t released minimum or recommend specs yet, for the latter.

You could probably stream it to the Xbox one if you have gpu.

You may be ok with said pc, but I honestly don’t know. Maybe we’ll get said details in June for their event.

i'd say it will work on that at maybe medium/low @30fps.

It isn't a visual powerhouse and the GTX 1060 or lower seems a popular trend with minimum requirements the last 2 years or so.

However, if memory serves, Bethesda doesn't have the best history with PC versions of their games.

It will be higher than 1060 minimum specs if Redfall is already at 1070 IMO.
