It won't be SONY, they have chump change. I bet MS will go for the kill to make sure that they keep things alive. If a Chinese company takes over or even a Japanese, it can look bad.
My reason for it not being so is because GAAS/subscriptions aren’t what they’re going, someone at Sony even said that’s not their thing, even though they’re looking into creating a platform with something new from within in another interview.

Ubisoft, EA, MS, Sony? I know there are other massive studios (take two for example) but those four put out the biggest games in the industry
I would think you have to include Tencent or Embracer. Maybe the 4 is just a random number to make a point and not meant to be taken literally.

Sony's market cap is valued at 130.6 billion USD, Disney's at 324 billion USD so just over 2.5 times more. Still, that's a lot of money to be forked out by Disney so I don't think they'll do it. They might just buy out the Sony Picture film department or at least work out another deal though.
