As someone who usually just sticks to his own teams progress (aka Chicago Bears) I enjoyed the slaughter myself. It was fun to watch. Didn't watch the whole thing non-stop but I still had a good time watching the stream. Couldn't make the Super Bowl party because I had work to do at home.I know it's wrong to say this on a site focused on video games, but I'm happy as hell to see a team that plays real tough football pound the living crap out of one that plays video game football. It's as if the Broncos were shocked that the little short passes that usually end up breaking into medium gains or longer were instead getting the receivers clobbered almost instantly, and that the mostly clean pocket Manning usually gets was disrupted by the Seahawks rush. Just look at the difference in the special teams units too - how many times did Holiday run it out of the end zone on kickoffs and not even make it close to the 20? Heck, the Seahawks had more kickoff return yards on their two returns (the safety free kick and the Harvin score) than Holliday had on his five returns (and probably a quarter of his yards were just getting out of the end zone).
But it shouldn't be too much of a surprise to see Harvin do what he did. It wasn't that long ago when he was at Florida where he missed a conference championship game against 'bama with an injury, only to come out and be an absolute game-changing stud in the title game.

look for news out of the NFL that the competition committee is going to "refocus" on holding and grabbing calls this offseason
Broncos had it easy all season long. you look at the schedule they had and realize its no wonder they scored so many points.. they are never really challenged at all.I know it's wrong to say this on a site focused on video games, but I'm happy as hell to see a team that plays real tough football pound the living crap out of one that plays video game football. I thought about that too. Who in their right mind would want to take a knee on the first kick-off in the Super Bowl though, your adrenaline is pumping, of course you want to run it out.I think the play that really ruined the Broncos was not even the first snap, it came before that. On the kick off the guy should have just taken a knee in the end zone and not try to run it out. If he would have done that the safety would most likely not have happened on the faulty snap.
Yeah I mean you can't blame the guy for doing that, but I do think that was ultimately the play that put them off on the wrong foot.I thought about that too.
