I am liking it so far, but my god the acting is horrible. Is it supposed to be?

It's a Japanese game. I don't recall any games made by a Japanese developer that has ever had good English voice acting.

I bought it over a year ago on sale and still haven't gotten around to it.

Metal Gear even with them having to spout out complete Kojima nonsense.

I don’t like how my character walks up to enemies but you don’t engage combat. The scene blacks out and changes to a combat scenario where you engage in combat and then it goes back to let you continue walking after you beat them.

Not sure I can handle that for 40 hours.

Haven't played the recent Yakuza game. I don't remember anything about LO. I don't remember the Metal Gear voice acting because I always skipped it when I could.
