Tales Of Zestiria, the new entry of the Tales of series currently in development for PlayStation 3, is going to be released in North America and Europe the same year the game is released in Japan, Bandai Namco confirmed.
The news comes from a recent E3 2014 interview with Dennis Lee, global brand manager for the Tales of series. When talking about the long time between the Japanese and Western release of previous entries of the series, including Tales Of Xillia and Tales Of Xillia 2, Lee has confirmed that Tales Of Zestiria is going to be released on the same year as it launches in Japan. This most likely means that Tales Of Zestiria is going to be released in 2015, as there’s no way that Bandai Namco releases three Tales Of games in 2014 in the West.
Yesterday Tales Of Zestiria has received some new screenshots, which showed Slay in battle using the “Shishisenkou” arte in battle and more. Tomorrow a new event on the game will be streamed on NicoNico which should reveal some new details on the game. Hideo Baba, the series’ producer, will also take part in this event.
Tales Of Zestiria launches on a yet to be confirmed date on PlayStation 3 in all regions.
