Rip to The Sunset Limited so figured I'd start a thread with preseason already under way. As a Bulls fan I'm really interested to see how the new additions can gel with Lavine, Markkanen, and Porter Jr. Hopefully everyone can stay healthy as well so we actually get a look at the full team for once.

Also, they revealed their new statement jersey and are bringing back the pinstripes. Hnngg

Also got tickets to opening night against the Raptors. Should be a good time.

This Rockets stuff is nuts. Could Daryl Morey actually lose his job for supporting democracy?

I've never owned a basketball jersey but that ends with this I think. Not sure which player to go with but leaning towards Wendell Carter Jr.

Get a custom one with Jordan, Pippen, or Rose.
Rose may be a good idea. Reading up on these they plan on using them for a few years. Maybe Rose will be back with the team by then so it would work out anyways. :hehe:

Shame on you NBA. Shame on you Steve Kerr. I HOPE Pop speaks his mind. I really hope he does.

I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt and think he is saying he doesn't know enough about the situation to speak about it but its clear the NBA has sent down the word that nobody can speak about China

But at the same time what can they really do? They would look awful if they punished someone of the stature of Steve Kerr.

There was a follow up at least. Although my default stance is f*** China.

Anybody got a summary on this? I saw something on twitter earlier but couldn't follow it. I'm guessing the player came out in support of the protestors in Hong Kong?

It was actually the Rockets GM. Said he supported the protesters in Hong Kong, Rockets owner, missing spine, complains about it. GM takes Tweet down. China becomes butthurt and ends relationship with Rockets.

Thank you Mr President for commenting on the NBA/Kerr/Pop and continually showing us why you’re a f***ing idiot.

The leader of our country calling a grown man a little boy. Stay classy Mr President. Stay classy.

There's a song that goes along with Lebron's words yesterday. "I see your true colors shining through."

"I don't want to get into a [verbal] feud with Daryl Morey, but I believe he wasn't educated on the situation at hand, and he spoke," James said before the Los Angeles Lakers played the Golden State Warriors in a preseason game at Staples Center. "And so many people could have been harmed not only financially, physically, emotionally, spiritually. So just be careful what we tweet and say and we do, even though, yes, we do have freedom of speech, but there can be a lot of negative that comes with that, too."

I really don't remember Harden being that outspoken before either? Garbage comic.
