Been watching them on Netflix too, just started on season 3, I loved the 1985 episodes with that nifty 80s style opening credits (love the Casio style keyboard music).

I'm not really into anime these days. They just don't hold my attention for one reason or another. Some are just too thick on melodrama and others just put in the suckiest filler. I did watch Goku and Vegeta vs Kid Buu yesterday. DBZ still holds the crown for best animated fight scenes. I'm just not a fan of the new generation for anime. The art and visuals just don't grab me they way older ones did.

3D Blu-ray/Blu-ray/DVD/Digital HD

So you can still watch it in just normal HD

The new show is described as "a character-driven comedy that leaves a trail of robot wreckage in its smoldering wake". It stars Sonic and perennial sidekick Tails as they battle Dr. Eggman. Erotic fan art creators will be overjoyed to learn that Knuckles and Amy Rose are also part of the ensemble, and the team will face enemies both new and old. 52 episodes have been commissioned and will debut on Cartoon Network in the US before rolling out (arf) around the world.

I enjoy watching horror flicks on the weekends leading up to Halloween. Some I've seen already, like The Thing or Frankenstein, but I always enjoy watching ones I've never seen before, especially classics buried underneath the sands of time. I dig Cinemassacre.com's yearly foray that is Monster Madness.

Just a few:

t's a month long look at a variety of horror films and I wholly recommend it to anyone looking for something different this year. Lots of great gems to choose from without having to wade through a spoiled two hours before realizing the movie wasn't for you. This year, I want to see Chillerama (it's on demand on my cable box), Halloween III, Lords of Salem, and Basket Case, along with some old Universal and Hammer monster movies.

Might try and get some of the family to watch Tucker and Dale vs Evil since it's a comedy and is easier to watch with some of the women. Although I gotta watch some Bubba Ho-Tep. I've been meaning to watch that one again and that's probably one of the best horror films to come out of the 2000s in my opinion. Any movie recommendations?

Phantasm, under rated horror movie from the same director as Bubba Ho-tep.
The Descent is awesome, also enjoyed Laid To Rest.

Didn't they make a sequel to the Descent? I really enjoyed the first one, but never got around to watching the second. Just learned that the new Leprechaun won't be out until 2014. Disappointing to hear. I've been wanting to see a new Leprechaun for a long time now. That dude was my most feared monster on the planet as a child.

Maybe a new character unless they are giving Knuckles fingers now?
He has those pointy fists of his and the general silhouette kinda screams Knuckles to me. So yeah, I'd say they've given him a huge over haul. To be fair, Sonic and what I presume is the Amy character seem to stray from the general look that's been established for Sonic ever since they stopped making him look fat. The legs especially appear skinnier to me.

There was a sequel to the Descent, I haven't seen it either but I heard it wasn't that good. I always preferred Chucky to Leprechaun, I'm getting the Chucky Bluray boxset that comes out Tuesday, it includes the new Curse Of Chucky moovie.

As an adult, Chucky definitely holds up as a superior icon, obviously. Leprechaun holds nostalgic value for me though because that guy really did scare the crap out of me.

I'd suggest Terror train. Re-animator, Night of the creeps for classic 80's horror.
Troll Hunter is a really good found footage type horror too.

Hopefully they have the uncut version for digital download on Amazon.
