The Breaking Bad thread. **SPOILERS**

Must be one of the few people who really never watched Breaking Bad. For me it just came on at the wrong time and not having any way to record it back then so I just past it off as just another show.

Yeah I read an article that a 30 sec spot was a quarter mil.
 
Can anyone explain Walt's tapping of the gauge during the final scene? (not sure if I remember this correctly, but the gauge's manufacturer read, "Weiss.")

I think that's where Walt bought his original lab equipment, the German company, he's realising it his old equipment.

Could just be an homage to Walt's endless "make sure the temperature is exact!" lectures.. and just him in general reminiscing about his one true love.. baby blue.

Avoiding posts but I started watching this. Got 3 episodes left of season 2 and I'm really enjoying it.

Finished season 2.

I think I might have actually caught some of this before. Sure I've seen this pink teddy before and the clip I remember hasn't happened yet.
 
I finally got arou d to watching this show. What heathens even put bb in the same playground as the wire?

Well i wasnt being overly serious... its just i heard so many good things about bb and how its on par with the wire. But its not close. Way to many implausible actions, changing character personalities and boring side stories (its best when just following walt, jesse is a s***ty annoyi g character, seriously. Hank is the 2nd best character. ) still a really fun show, but its just candy when compared to tbe wire, imo

I haven't watched the wire yet(it's on my bucket list)

I can't imagine it besting Breaking Bad by much though.

I love Breaking Bad :)

I'm working my way through The Shield, plan is the Sopranos is next, then The Wire, then possibly Oz.

Oz is awesome. Six Feet Under and Deadwood are 2 more great HBO shows.

I can't say much until I've watched The Wire, but BB is great imo :txbsmile:
 
Well I started watching this series 6 months ago at my wife and boys pleading (not much of a TV guy) and just finished Series 5 last night. What a ride, enjoyed and savored it from end-to-end.

Makes me want to give something else a try...my son tells me I need to watch either The League or House of Cards.
 
Finally finished the last season. Damn those last 4 episodes were really something, especially the very last one. Great way to end the show.
 
On season 5 and just watched the episode ''Buyout''


Would that actually work with the electric wire?
