MS don't force publisher's to make the upgrade version free so a few do multiple versions so they can then charge extra if/when that gamer wants to upgrade.
I think 12-20 hours main story & longer if you enjoy & want to do side quest is fine.
I put 33 hours into Steelrising & its just nice. Long games often has a lot of dull filler contents

Never played Dead Space, so I’m excited for that also. It’s $62.99 I think with Game Pass.
Dead Space is great. One of the best games on the X360/PS3 generation.
