Official Thread The Division v. 2

Solo or co-op matters none, i just wanna play.

Wish I could skip the campaign and go straight to the more important end game, though.

I like the story missions in the campaign usually. I know there are only window dressing for the end game but they are still fun to play.

With the better AI hopefully the missions are a lot more fun. I am replaying the original on PC (only $9 for the gold version) and it made me appreciate the better AI and slightly less bullet spongy enemies.

If I am getting this, I'll be on PC most likely. The game is looking great, my backlog is just huge right now.

That is one potential outcome for the A.I. Another is that it will make it frustrating.

Did you play the invaded mission in the beta? Like a pack of beasts constantly trying to surround you.

Cheaters are usually the reason I go console over PC, but I don't plan on spending a ton of time in PVP anyway. I really want the higher framerate too as I think I enjoy these games a lot better with smoother shooting. I tried the demo on Xbox 1 X but the fps weren't great. It looks amazing, but I really like the option to turn down visuals and get better FPS. (not even sure I need to turn them down with Division 2 as it ran great in beta).

I’m starting to get an itch to get this game again. I keep telling myself I don’t want to devote so much of my gaming time to one game... so many buddies on my friends list are getting it and they’re hyping me up on it.

I'm in the same boat. Game looks great, but I don't really have time for a full on looter shooter right now.

I'm probably just going to end up getting it. I am off all next week. Didn't specifically take off for this but it just kind of worked out (actually I think I looked ahead on the release date). I'm glad I'm not the only geek to take time off for a video game. :)

People who hang in video game forums do such things ;)

Is Gold Editon worth it? Or will standard edition be fine for awhile and just get season pass at later time?

Yeah I'm not even sure what the season pass even does. DLC is free. I guess you just get to unlock specializations right away. I assume there are more benefits.

I'm guessing that unless you really want the early access, we can just buy standard and can always add the pass later on.

The season pass grants...

1 week early access to DLC
Immediate acces to specializations.
Exclusive bounties
Exclusive classified assignments.
Cosmetic items.
Loot caches --not sure if this is cosmetic or not.

That is all I can recall of the top of my head.

Gold is just playing early and getting the yearly pass.

I'm just being impatient. Most likely won't hear back about changing editions...and it's probably for the best.

FYI the side missions level with you, meaning the XP reward grows too. Might want to save as many as you can for the latter level ups.
