Well, in true ubimassive form, you cant find out any way. Maitenence should have ended 4 hours ago, but nope, it didn't.Man, haven't played this game in ages. Don't know if I can get back into it now
Did they finally fix the ganking in the dark zone? I might have to try this out again.
Basically, is this game more fun than at launch? I didn't hate it at launch, but it turned into a really boring grind for me.
Depends what you didnt find fun.Did they finally fix the ganking in the dark zone? I might have to try this out again.

Well, I'm re-downloading it. I finally hit 400 in Destiny and could use a break.
I think my big beef with Division other than gamers being a-holes is the 3rd person combat is just dull. With the lower TTK maybe I'll like it more. Draining a heavy machine gun into a bullet sponge enemy was just no fun.
Have to say tha alot of these 1.6 changes are starting to make alot of sense. It really does seem like group build synergy is the way to go for best experience, but still leaving room for solo play on most thINGS.
Take a Reclaimer Gear Set built with high electronis, support station, pulse, and the Exotic weapon talent that instantly cools all skill when destroying an enemy weakspot.
Now have a buddy build a high crit chance build with the Exotic weapon talent that heals all group members for 1% for every crit hit.
Now you have health for days and almost unlimited skill usage.
Hasto be a high electronic build though, like 350-400k skill power. Otherwise its effect will be pretty pointless.I was thinking I might try out that new reclaimer build.
Lack of end game cntent is par fo the course with these types of games, and yes, I agree with your disappointment.I wish Massive would have added more content to grind outside PvP stuff. I put in a lot of hours into this game and it was a lot of fun. But the dlc was very disaapointing. Underground was cool but it got old quick, tried Survival and got bored quickly since you can't use your build and have no interest in PvP focused Last Stand. Massive has made big changes with each patch which for the most part made the game better. But it also meant having to re-tune my build using the same content which I exhausted long ago. I'm interested in a sequel with all the lessons learned from this first title.
I recently read that Massive is now in partnership with James Cameron to make a open world game set on the planet of Pandora in the Avatar universe. I don't know how big Massive is to take on that project and continue support for this game. But their dlc obligations are over for The Division so I guess outside balancing there isn't much for them to do.
Man, is Avatar still relevant? No Division 2.0 then?

By putting on more electronic geared gear.500k skill power?? I have 5600 in skill power at the moment and that only gives me 160k. How the f*** are you meant to get 500k?
Since Avatar is the highest grossing movie ever I would say its still relevant. But 4 sequels and a game relevant I don't know. Going off The Division Massive is pretty good at open world building. But filling that world with fun activities is something they are a little shaky on. I would say The Division 2 is on hold for now. But Ubi sure does love their open world games so I would say at some point it will happen.

Division was rushed. They had several outside studious working on different things that needed to be worked on by one. This is why difficulty balace was atrocious , and why weapons and gear combos mde for way too OP builds.Since Avatar is the highest grossing movie ever I would say its still relevant. That isn't really true. There is plenty that can be done.Yep, Destiny is 2.5 years old and still struggles with this. You can only do so much with these games.

Now they have a dedicated team balancing the whole, and the game has improved a lot.
Yep.You'd think that they'd have the core design team work on core gameplay aspects, weapon/gear sets, game balancing etc, and offload the "lower priority" aspects to the other houses.
I would play through the campaign andthen uninstall it and move on. The end game has gone to s***, again. This is free to play over the weekend. If I have time might try it out.
