I miss the days of Occupy Wall St. compared to this stuff. It seemed like most of them were united in understanding our problems coming from Class and rising inequality.

Now we have factions feeling further marginalized and turning on each other.

They are just a antifa reply.

That's the fundamental difference between us: I understand the difference between right and wrong. If the antifa are doing half of the things you're being told they are (even though a large percentage of the stuff you see is photoshopped), then they're wrong. These a******s are wrong. The a******s in Charlottesville are wrong. Violence, racism, sexism, these things are wrong.

On the other hand, your moral scale isn't right and wrong, it's right and left. And that's wrong, but you'll keep on surrounding yourself with a******s because you like their s***.

The last Republican tax plan should ensure that not one Republican wins an election next month, but people will still vote for it anyway.

I firmly believe that all the racism and sexism is a way to trick lower and middle class white people into voting for something that will never benefit them in any way.

Yep that is their way. I forget which one but one of the big name TV evangelicals was caught on tape admitting to using anti-abortion rhetoric as a rallying cry. That is what they want to do is divide and conquer.

It does not have to be this way. There would be plenty for all if everyone was willing to give a little but the ones with the most power not only refuse to share, they want to dominate the rest of us. It isn't enough that they succeed, we must all be subservient to them. The alt-right, proud boys and all these you tubers stanning for the right are being played and they are too addicted to the hate (and money in some cases) to see reality.

They've convinced a lot of people that economics is a zero sum gain. If I'm going to get mine, someone else needs to lose out.

It is silly really. When you increase wages, those people invest and buy more stuff. I want more people to get out of poverty not because I care about humanity, but because more people in the middle class means more people buying stuff and helping me succeed.

At a glance, I'm not sure the Proud Boys are Nazis exactly, but certainly nationalists.

They strike me as very frustrated people looking for identity by turning to the past and nostalgia. Even their figurehead leader McInnes dresses basically like the main character from Falling Down.

I'm not sure there is something wrong with their basic concept, but I think they contribute unnecessary escalation. There is something a bit punkish or juvenile to them in a way and they even refer to them selves as Proud Boys instead of Men and they have a gang mentality.

Some of this feels like a weird version of Project Mayhem from Fight Club.

Not all proud boys are Nazi's. They are mash up of Nazis, misogynists, nationalists, men who refuse to get a job.

At the very least that is a pragmatic way to look at it. It seems like some of these Billionaires are more afraid of loosing a single dollar far more than I am.

Democrats and the left condem antifa and their stupidity. The right, as a whole, embrace child rapists, adulterers, sexual assaulters, racists, murders. They actually bow down to it. They literally worship child rapists and sexual assaulters. But libs r dum.

Yep it's just common sense, money is a finite thing and an economy is meant for money to flow from the bottom up and then back down again so it can keep circulating through the system but that's not what happens anymore. Too few have too much of it and there is no way they can spend enough to make a difference. They refuse to raise wages so the people at the bottom don't have it to spend, eventually this is going to cause a lot of problems especially as automation and outsourcing continue to take middle class and even low skill jobs away.

This tweet pissed me off

Playing identity politics didn't work so well last time for us did it? Get someone who can win first and then worry about checking other boxes. I replied to her saying basically the same thing. I can't stand this "it has to be a woman or a person of color" mentality, not because of the way the right will act but because of what the response on the left will be if someone isn't sure about the candidate. They'll call any doubters sexist or racist and god forbid it's Harris they'll call them both and that'll just turn middle of the road voters off enough that they don't bother voting and Dump will end up winning a second term.

Is part of the problem that government is giving to many breaks to big businesses or outright subsidizing them? I think for a while it was intended as a 'good faith' deal that would be reciprocated.

Maybe it's time all communities and states unite on a policy stop doing this. I know they do it because it has the appearance of creating jobs for their constituents, but it doesn't help if the lower / middle classes shoulder the burden of these incentives to big businesses if they don't return the favor with jobs that pay good wages to reinvigorate the local economy. I suppose at most, the good pay is temporary for those who build the warehouses.

They routinely throw up the ok nazi hand gesture. Their leader claims he’s not a nazi, but he’s anti-Semitic. They believe a woman’s place is in the kitchen and nothing more. They claim they’re not racist because they have token Latinos and African Americans They're anti-gay. The list is endless. They're a racist, sexist, anti-gay group of low self esteem male nazis who feel the need to be c***s to make themselves feel like "men."

Well if you aren't sure about the candidate when the alternative is trump it may not make you racist or sexist but it sure makes you deserving of some kind of insult.
