Worth a read, you'll have to click on it to get the entire thread obviously :)

I completely agree. They’re are failing to point out that the soviet part of it is narrow in scope. They keep saying it didn’t happen. barr’s wording was missing a lot and the media ran with it and allowed trump and republicans to create a false narrative that is wide spread, “no collusion,” when, in fact, there absolutely was, but the media helped created the false narrative. Now barr can redact to create that false narrative.

We should be fighting to get the full report and nothing else. This is the problem with the modern media, they need to report on something, when we know nothing beyond that the report exists and that it is 400 some pages. All we have is a "summary" from someone who we don't trust (so nothing).

The message should be simple and clear, "What are you hiding?". Clearly the report has at least one thing damaging in it.

If you had doubts about barr being a stooge, have no more doubts. The stooge is having a conference before the release of the report. He has also been talking directly, feeding them information, with the trump administration all of this week, before he releases it.

And the media will eat it right up

A senior Australian diplomat has said the government is "now ready to confirm" a series of events in 2016 between the country's high commissioner to the UK and a Trump campaign adviser, which led to US authorities investigating Donald Trump's links with Russia.
The release of the Australian diplomatic documents comes as a redacted copy of the final Mueller report is expected to be released on Thursday.
The London meeting between former high commissioner Alexander Downer and Trump adviser George Papadopoulos was first reported by the New York Times in December 2017, reportedly revealing how Downer had been told by Papadopoulos that Russia had political dirt on Hillary Clinton.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...een-new-deal-andy-barr-kentucky-a8875376.html

A Republican lawmaker’s invitation for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to meet with coal miners in his home state of Kentucky backfired completely after the progressive Washington newcomer accepted without hesitation.
Ms Ocasio-Cortez, the youngest woman ever elected to serve in the US House of Representatives, has served as a lightning rod across party lines for her Green New Deal resolution, which seeks to provide a comprehensive response to the global threat of climate change.
Andy Barr, the Kentucky Republican who initially invited the 29-year-old congresswoman to his state, said at the time that local coal miners would tell her “what the Green New Deal would mean for their families, their paychecks,” while suggesting the resolution could destroy their industry.
To his apparent surprise, the first-term Democrat from New York immediately accepted his invitation, saying she would be “happy” to meet the coal miners and noted her resolution provides pension payments for those who have worked in the mining industry.
“We want a just transition to make sure we are investing in jobs across those swaths of the country,” she said in her response to Mr Barr’s invitation.
Suddenly, that invite appears to include some caveats.
In order to accompany her on a trip to meet with local coal miners, Mr Barr demanded an apology from Ms Ocasio-Cortez towards Dan Crenshaw, a Texas Republican she has criticised for sharing a false tweet that claimed Ilhan Omar denied the attacks on September 11, 2001 were an act of terror.
Ms Ocasio-Cortez has defended the Minnesota Democrat after conservatives and Donald Trump spread false and misleading information about her. On Wednesday, it did not appear she was about to back down from that position.
“Luckily, we still have open borders with Kentucky,” Corbin Trent, a spokesperson for Ms Ocasio-Cortez, told The Courier-Journal.
“We don’t need Congressman Barr to meet with coal miners and have a town hall,” he added, “though we’d love his participation if we do.”

Ok, it seems like CNN is getting serious about the release of the report now. They're not saying anymore that most of it is probably public knowledge anyway. The three questions that will hopefully be proposed to barr are great. Hope they get asked.

While they're inviting people to meet with non-existent folks (see the earlier article which pointed out that Barr's district has no coal miners), they could go ahead and get the "radical islamists" who were with the caravan and all of the people whose jobs were created because of Republican tax cuts. It might triple the cost of catering the event to $0.

Funny coincidence releasing it the day before a big holiday weekend too. I bet they don't actually put the report out until later afternoon, giving people little time to go over it.

barr lied and said he wanted to let people who were not charged to ask for stuff to be omitted. Multiple people who were named in it have said, unequivocally, said they were not contacted. barr only showed one person/group, trump and his attorneys.

Report explicitly say CONGRESS should make the distinction on obstruction. Not barr. Congress can, and will, start impeachment process after reading and digesting.
