Oh its definitely about checking boxes but from a strategic standpoint its probably a good one.

She absolutely isn't ready to be President but the people that voted for Trump or Stein or just didn't vote at all in 2016 can't honestly complain about that so I doubt it matters.

I agree. But as others i have heard say it: I would more interested if if Harris was leading the ticket.

The difference is she won't bring those people in either, dems are going to be motivated to get Trump out so I think they need someone who will bring the more moderate independents out and I don't think that's something she would do. She does seem like a smart woman and I'd love to see what she does if she were to run for senate or something first. This identity politics stuff needs to stop, everyone keeps talking about "so and so is a woman, person of color..." which just seems silly. They need to get the best person and if that person is a woman or person of color don't keep bringing it up, we can all see it and it diminishes that person as an individual.

Yeah but the person who brings in the moderates and the independents is Biden. Problem is Biden needs to get there first. He is no slam dunk to get the nomination. If picking her makes him more acceptable to more liberal voters and secures a higher percentage of black voters its a smart move.

When it comes to the VP whoever wins is going to be damned if they do damned if they don't. Pick a white guy and people will complain they didn't go more diverse. Don't pick a white guy and people will complain that they only got picked because of their race or gender. I say I don't care about any of that. JUST. WIN.

If what's being shown about this administration's use of Whatsapp and other encrypted programs to conceal personal gain or policy is true, then it is far greater of a threat than Clinton's misuse of an email server.

While I agree it's possible to just start the proceedings even if there is zero chance the Senate indicts, doing so now would just fuel Republicans more than they might already be. Continue the investigations and worry about removing him in elections at this point. If the American people are that blind to what this administration has done, whether it has been unethical, anti-democratic, or even illegal, then this experiment of a country is a failure anyways.

Oh I'm not saying hers was as bad but the fact that it was an issue at all was her fault and she keeps acting like she was a victim.

At the end of the day the only reason it was there to talk about to begin with was because she was being shifty, had she not tried to work around the system to begin with it never would have been an issue.

Of course there was but I doubt they have any evidence of it.

Funny how a lot of this could have been avoided if Dumb Dumb just found an actual reason to fire Comey and didn't compliment Putin every 15 minutes.

Sure as long as the entire report is made available and not drip fed or leaked in anyway by people that have a personal interest in it. Let's also keep in mind that Mueller wasn't the only investigation, so while he might be done with indictments, that doesn't mean one of the other dozen investigations into Trump's various forms of corruption won't result in any.
 
Yep, the entire report, unedited, not pieces of it. Not a summary of it (which is what we might see today).

The country is in a very bad place until the full, unedited report is released.

Need to see full report. The fact that Mueller came to th conclusion of no U.S. knowingly colluded with the soviet union, is dumbfounding considering the trump tower “adoptions” meeting. Need to see the full report and the context of why/how that was said by Mueller.
