It makes their job a lot easier when people don't say anything or when they try to downplay it.

Well that's the point right? You can't help but downplay it when they call them terrorists.

Bottom line is I'm having trouble getting too worked up over someone getting hit by a milkshake and I'm not sure who it is that is supposed to condemn them every time it happens.

'What do you call two farmers in a basement? Whine cellar.' That's a joke that trump's secretary of agriculture said to a room of farmers that are getting destroyed by tariffs and further destroyed at removing epa mandates that certain companies use ethanol and hurts farmers corn sales on top of it all.

The latest nutty theory is that the "liberals" are creating all this panic for a recession in order to defeat Trump. You know, because we all have the power to do that or something. That's going to be one of the excuses if they lose.

When a Democrat wins too they'll be screaming about the deficit even before inauguration, as if they have no idea where the budget deficit came from.

I know I've posted a few links from this show lately, I really like that they are people from two different political perspectives but that doesn't stop them from being respectful to each other, they are also both critical of their own "sides" when they feel they need to be. What they say here about the media and especially the NYT is very true, they focus almost exclusively on the latest Trump outrage and that comes at the expense of covering anything else going on in the world.

Hitting someone with a milkshake is going to escalate into something else and when it does many people on our side will cry foul instead of taking responsibility for their part in causing the problem, if they keep throwing things at people who like guns I don't think anyone is going to like what happens.. The way they beat up that old man and that "writer" a couple of weeks ago was pathetic. I don't know why this s*** keeps happening in Portland, seems like they have an event there every month to scream at each other, I know this past weekend something happened that got out of hand and people got hurt and both sides are blaming the other for it.

Was it this old man?

Because if so I rest my case.

Congressional Republicans recently circulated talking points on gun violence that falsely described the El Paso massacre and other mass shootings as “violence from the left.”
A document obtained by the Tampa Bay Times and sent by House Republicans provides a framework for how to respond to anticipated questions like, “Why won’t you pass legislation to close the ‘gun show loophole’ in federal law?” and “Why shouldn’t we ban high-capacity magazines?” The answers are boilerplate Republican arguments against tougher gun restrictions.

White nationalism and racism are pure evil and cannot be tolerated in any form,” the document said. “We also can’t excuse violence from the left such as the El Paso shooter, the recent Colorado shooters, the Congressional baseball shooter, Congresswoman Giffords’ shooter and Antifa.
"

The GOP is irredeemable.

Yep I heard about this as well. So far the escalation of antifa has been eggs (from New Zealand kid) to milkshakes. Judging by the use of dairy products what is the next logical step in escalation?

They all look like idiots, there are videos of the old guy who was involved in a larger brawl but the video doesn't show who actually started it as the melee was already going on. He had his sunglasses and hat on and swung the bar like a little girl and then got punched in the face a few times, then stupidly tried to go after one of the people that hit him, most of them were wearing helmets so I don't know what he expected to accomplish.

This is in Iowa. Hopefully this is becoming more the mood in regards to gun control across the U.S.

I know the tweet isn't exactly accurate but it's still funny. She seems like a very nice woman but this is a stupid way to appeal to people to vote for her husband.

She's flipped on a number of things, but I think this one is she understands a complete blow up of insurance industry will do more harm than good in the medium term. I think everyone's stance should be they are for a public option in addition to private if you want it with the ultimate goal being Medicare for all because the market will show that a hopefully better, and cheaper, public alternative is what everyone wants. I don't think this one can be like ripping off a bandaid.

Castro is now qualified for the debate. Now at 10. Now if we could just convince everyone else to go away.

A position that is between Bernie and Biden is what is needed. Hopefully Warren pivots.

10 on one stage is too much. Hopefully it's split again.

This is why it sucks. Nobody wants to watch 2 debates and the true contenders need to be on the stage together.

Hopefully its gets much more strict to qualify in November

A public option likely won't be much cheaper, her plan takes 10 years to implement which means it'll be left to someone else to actually complete it and that doesn't make much sense. They need to make sure everyone is covered, a public option still requires people to buy a public plan.
