It could just be a ploy like Bookers was, just throw out a low-ball figure that you are confident you can raise and make it look like you have more support than you do and were able to dig yourself out of a hole.

Yang and Gabbard haven’t signed the pledge to not run as a 3rd party. 🤨

Just watched a 45 minute interview with Yang and he said he would not run 3rd party and would absolutely endorse the nominee whoever it was. Gabbard has said several times she isn't running 3rd party but with people constantly questioning her and calling her a liar it almost seems like they are pushing her to break her word.

I don’t think he can hit that mark.

Probably not but it's not an outrageous number either, we'll see. I think he cooked his goose with that attack on Biden, it came across as mean and it turned out that Castro was actually the one that was getting the facts wrong in that exchange and was misrepresenting what Biden had said.

White nationalists should be called out and so should every other type of extremist that wants to hurt someone else in the name of whatever their silly beliefs are. Islamic extremism should be called out though and it's not just a silly talking point. We have been in two wars for nearly 20 years trying to stop "Islamic extremism" or at least that's what we are told the goal is. People who claim jihads, who want to kill women for cheating, kill people for being gay, participate in female genital manipulation are extremists and they do those things in the name of their religion.

There if a difference between what you or I believe and what politicians believe. Its fair to say "Obama should have said it" but the politicians who criticized him for it didn't care about the issue. They just wanted to score cheap points.

I didn't realize this but states have sore loser laws that would prevent this. That is assuming she is or will be on the ballot for most primary states.

Either way she is clearly in it to hurt Democrats at this point and I don't see how it could be denied.

But whatever she does or doesn't do it won't have anything to do with Hillary or the DNC or any of that nonsense and we all know this.

Gary Johnson ran into this problem when he was first running as a Republican but was getting even less time than Ron Paul. Gary then accepted the Libertarian nomination but faced ballot access problems.

You can be right about a subject even if your reasons aren't pure, the fact that he and others were scared to say it was actually called out by many Muslim reformists it wasn't just republicans.

"Scared to say it?" No. More like didn't feel the need to react to the right. The same right who accused him of being a Muslim and not even born in this country didn't deserve any response, which is exactly what they got.

Go read Robert O'Neill's book. He's the navy seal who shot and killed Bin Laden. He admitted to being a longtime Republican but praised Obama for the way he handled the situation.

The right loves to invent these talking points, and repeating them just gives them more power. The idea that we should react to something so silly as this given the current President is laughable. The facts speak for themselves. Most people were critical of Obama's tough policies when it came to taking out terrorists. Lots of people felt he overstepped by taking out US citizens and such.

Again even Muslim's who wanted the religion to reform were upset that it wasn't being called out for what it was, just because it was the right pointing it out doesn't mean it's automatically wrong. It was Islamic extremists that we were supposed to be fighting against, not all of Islam and not some people who just happened to be from the middle east and had nothing else in common. The sad part is anytime someone brings that up they are either called racist which is stupid because Islam isn't a race or the dishonest "you can't say every Muslim is an terrorist" line that nobody was ever actually saying to begin with. People far too often were nervous or afraid offending someone so they skirted the issue.

Show me in his record where he was ever soft on Islamic terror. He was often considered a warhawk and criticized for things like drone strikes without congressional approval. He ordered an attack on Bin Laden into Pakistan which was a huge risk. He felt putting a few bullets into Bin Laden was worth it.

This is what made Obama great - he didn't get pulled down into these pointless discussions. Trump would make 50 tweets saying "muslims are evil" but wouldn't do a damn thing.

"Americans understand we fight not a religion. Ours is not a campaign against the Muslim faith. Ours is a campaign against evil," Bush said in September of that year.

Where was the criticism? Why didn't the GOP convince him to say it? Even those who hate the GOP and know how bad they are easily convinced by their talking points. Hillary proves that.

I don't care much for Joe Rogan, and I haven't watched this yet, but Snowden is always an interesting interview and Rogan does ask questions mainstream media won't ask.

Can't stand Rogan, but absolutely f*** Snowden. He's a criminal who stole classified information and gave it journalists and who knows who else. Then he fled to Russia like a coward. Weird how people call him whistleblower when he's not one.

I don't feel that way. I feel what he did was necessary. He didn't feel he could be the true definition of a government whistleblower, look at what's happening right now with a whistleblower with a far lower level of information than what Snowden had. He didn't feel there was anybody in the government he could go to. I'm a pessimist, but I try to believe he hasn't given it to anybody nefarious.

Bush is an idiot, and of course the people on his side were never going to be critical of him while he was in office we know this. It wasn't just republicans who wanted what was going on to be named though.

The problem is, for morons who can't process multiple words (including, not to name any names, an anonymous public official who currently serves as President of the United States of *redacted*), they see words thrown together and don't get that "radical Islam" is a small subset of people who claim to follow Islam just like "liberal media" or whatever variant of liberal/socialist the current barking points are. Abortion clinic bombers are never described as virulent Christians; the group itself is only at fault when they're 'not like us.'

They didn't criticize him because they had to interest in trying to make him look like a secret muslim.

I don't know how many Democrats wanted him to say it because I only found two. Gabbard and Manchin. So in other words I couldn't find any.

He took close to a million documents supposedly. They were NSA and DOD files as well as British and Australian intelligence files. It was previously reported that Russia and China have them and decrypted these documents causing a lot of headache. I find it hard to believe Russia would allow him to stay without giving something up. Moreover, he took everything...every single document and not just the ones he took issue with. I think when he is eventually nabbed and more time passes, we'll find out the full extend of what he has done. Plus, he's a cliche "both sides are the same" Libertarian moron. He'll always be a bad guy and coward who ran to me.

As of about an hour ago still stalled because the GOPers were eating pizza in there. Time to call the sergeant at arms to crack some skulls.
