That's the unfortunate problem of winning a tough primary vs winning the general. The reality is even if a more left leaning candidate wins the big election and the Democrats take over congress, congress is still going to be an anchor for the middle. Obama barely got ACA passed.

I like Warren a lot, but I also assume that her plans will be watered down between now and if she's elected.
That's why I like left leaning candidates, at least their starting point in negotiations is far enough left that when they do move towards the middle we are still getting something close to what we wanted vs doing the same old republican light we've been doing the past 20 years. Hillary's ideas were mostly already in the center and those on the right would have just pulled her even further before they did any type of compromise, same thing will happen with Biden or any other centrist.

Janet Gonzales, 85, said she has a long list of reasons why she came out to protest Trump on Monday, including his “upside down” foreign policy in the Middle East.

Asked what she would say to Trump if she met him, she said, “f*** you.”

From reddit.

They specifically made sure Gates' testified that he witnessed Stone tell Trump personally what was coming:

Here’s how the the question went by Aaron Zelinsky, a former Mueller prosecutor:
After Mr Trump got off the phone with Mr Stone, what did Trump say?
Gates: “He indicated more information would be coming."

So Trump knew as early as July that he had a backchannel to WikiLeaks, that they had more hacked content, but for whatever reason the time wasn't right to release it. Then months later...

• October 7th, 2016 4:00 PM: The Washington Post reveals the existence of the Access Hollywood tape.
• Less than one hour later: WikiLeaks dumps the hacked Podesta emails, and releases them in dribs and drabs over the following days to maximize saturation.

Just as Roger Stone had planned:

The striking simultaneity fulfilled the hope of Trump confidant Roger Stone, according to Jerome Corsi, a conservative author and former Stone associate who was subpoenaed over the summer for questioning by special counsel Robert S. Mueller III.
“I had one call from Roger, as I recall it — Roger disputes this — on the day that WikiLeaks did begin in October dropping the final emails on John Podesta, in which Roger was essentially saying, ‘We’ve got this timing issue because the Billy Bush tape is going to be released, and we’d like to have Assange begin releasing emails now,’” Corsi told MSNBC’s Ari Melber on Monday.

The story isn't just that Trump knew what was coming from the Russia Intelligence cutout WikiLeaks, it's that they coordinated the release with them to ensure the maximum possible benefit to Trump's 2016 candidacy. Mueller did not determine that amounted to statutory criminal conspiracy, but it sure as s*** amounts to collusion.
