We know Yang doesn't get great treatment but its also a result of him never interacting with anyone. At some point he should have figured that out and singled a candidate out to debate.

Surprised how Pete came out of this so unscathed. Figured he would be a target with his momentum but only Tulsi tried to go after him and that failed hard.

Really because at that exchange I saw Pete got heated up and Tulsi melting his face when said even when your president you also have to talk with those who you dont like to try to get some kind of results.

He didn't like that.

Plus that debate was more personal

He parried it pretty easily. Even got a laugh out of the crowd with "Does anyone think we're going to invade Mexico?"

Weird thing to attack him for too. He has weaknesses so why did she feel the need to lie about something when there are real things to hit him on?

He mischaracterized what she said, she never said he'd invade Mexico she said and rightfully so that he said he'd be willing to send troops there, he did say that so it wasn't a lie. She got a bit of a crowd reaction too when she turned the Assad thing around on him.

As far as Yang they took 32 minutes before they even asked him a question, they spent a lot of time talking to the human vibrator Amy Klobuchar and she's polling around the same level that he is. I think you are right in the sense that he doesn't actually go after other candidates so the moderators don't see any sparks coming from him and they'd rather have a "story" than get a candidates actual views on anything. They did their best to set up Gabbard vs Harris round 2 and they even gave Harris the set up to go after Mayor Pete for his lying about prominent African Americans endorsing his plan and she backed away from that as fast as she could which was a terrible move on her part.

I was surprised but that too but I assume at this point she wants to be a VP option

I do agree the moderating and questions were bad but Yang doesn't have to go after anyone. Two candidates talking about why they disagree on something doesn't have to be an attack. Its a debate.

Yeah he seems more focused on just talking about his plans or even answering the question that's asked vs trying to compare himself to someone else. I think his debate style is good for a one on one debate but in a crowded room he needs to do more to get attention, clearly MSNBC has gone out of their way to ignore him so he should have been more forceful last night but I don't know if that's in his nature. He did raise his hand and try to interject at one point before he ever got a question but they moved along and ignored him.

One thing I forgot to say earlier, I thought Bernie Sanders had his best debate last night simply because he seemed like he was in a better mood, the guy had his hair combed lol and he just came across as less grouchy old man and more like someone who seriously could lead the country. Maybe I'm wrong and I'm giving him too much credit because I like him and I'd be happy if he were the nominee but I think he probably did himself some favors last night with people who weren't necessarily in his corner before.

This has info as of 3 days ago as to who has qualified for the December debate and how close those that haven't are.

Biden, Sanders, Warren, Harris, Buttigieg and Klobuchar have all qualified.

Yang needs one more 4% poll OR two 6% polls and has met the donor threshold
Gabbard needs either one 4% poll or one 6% poll and hasn't met the donor threshold
Steyer has met the polling threshold (how?) but not the donor threshold
Booker hasn't gotten any qualifying polls yet and needs either four 4% or two 6% and hasn't met the donor threshold.

And now reading that some are attacking Adam Schiff over having shares in two companies that have ties to Burisma, seems they really are in panic mode.
Not even Fox News seems to want to run with that.
