Let's not forget he wasn't a saint and although he was 1000% better than the a****** that has the job now he still ignored the little guy just as much as any other administration before him.

There was a bill that sent millions to Flint. It even got passed by the Senate. Not sure what happened to the money after it was allocated. I don't live there, but I know what happens in my area - local gov't pisses every dime away on "consultants" and "studies" that never do anything. At least in my area, it is almost always the locals who could have the most impact and usually are the most corrupt. Somebody's "cousin" has a firm that gets a multi-million dollar contract for a "feasibility" study that really just siphons off all the cash.

If Biden wins its going to be because the field was so large for so long. You might have a candidate who is getting 2% that you like but they should have gone way months ago. There is still like 15 people running.

It was only a matter of time, this way she can keep her name off of the CA primary ballot and save herself some trouble in the future.
She wouldn't have been in any danger of a primary but she would definitely want to keep future Presidential runs open

I'm not so sure about that, she's not all that popular here and people with Presidential aspirations could have viewed her position as a stepping stone.

Yang is pulling some good fund raising and I think he just needs one more poll.
I hope he gets it, he's been stuck at 3 for a little while now and I haven't seen a whole lot of movement in polls that have been coming out. He pulled in $750k in one day just by asking people to contribute that day to meet a goal.

lol it really is bad sometimes. Can we get some younger people in congress please. I promise when I'm pushing old age I'll still say the same thing.

Also listened to a bit of the hearings yesterday afternoon. Man it is rough listening to the Republicans on there. Still going with conspiracy theories or just outright lies.

It is a problem. Someone like Obama would take that exact same speech but make it way more powerful. This is a moment in history where someone needs to make a strong statement, not make me turn up my headphones to even hear it.

What the Republicans say doesn't matter because they simply don't care. They voted for someone who said they could shoot someone on the street and get away with it. Nothing will ever convince them. The only hope is that people who didn't vote are out there watching and will stand up to them.

I can't wait to listen to the Hillary interview on Howard, but I want to make sure I catch it all when I can sit and really listen.

Anyway, here's a reality with climate change. What if your insurer says that you're just too much of a risk?

I didn't watch that video but its too biased to bother with but I saw what she said and she is right.
Blaming Bernie for waiting a month to endorse her didn't hurt her that's a BS line and yet another excuse she and her team use to try to distract from what an awful job they all did. Bernie voters weren't beholden to who he endorsed, they aren't bought and paid for and it was up to HER to bring them over and if they didn't vote for her it's because she didn't get the job done. A lot of the people who supported him were people who weren't likely to vote anyway they weren't rank and file loyal democrats who vote for whoever the DNC throws at us.

She won the popular vote (as she constantly reminds us) she lost in a few states she should have won, that's not on Bernie or anyone else it's on her and her terrible campaign staff, many of whom were recently working on the highly popular Kamala Harris campaign. Hillary is an entitled ass, she thought the Presidency was owed to her, she was totally oblivious to the fact that the economic policies she and her husband had been championing for decades ended up hurting a lot of people especially in the Midwest.

Pelosi is a tttteeerrrrrrrriiiiibbblllleee speaker. I mean her actual speaking, not the position she holds. Definitely has false teeth.
She's never been good at it, go back and watch videos from when she became the speaker the first time, she stammers and has to gather her thoughts fairly often. That fake video that was put out of her seemingly being drunk or out of it wasn't all that far off from the real thing lol.

We can't let people who won't be around in 15 years dictate policy that's going to have an impact on people for many decades to come, they don't understand what's going on now and they generally speaking want to keep fighting the same fights they have been since they first got into office.
