She said even this morning that he's unfit to be POTUS, I think people are going a bit far with their conspiracy theories.

Look, will this whole thing probably die in the Senate? Maybe Tulsi sees this as a complete waste of time and it's more about using impeachment to attack Trump Pre-2020 than about removing him because that's not going to happen?

I've heard some suggest that Americans will get Impeachment fatigue or become disgusted witht he Democratic Party over this whole thing.

I don't have a very firm stance in this regard, but it's not hard to imagine this is where Tulsi is coming from.

I've seen people calling her a coward for voting present, what would she have to lose one way or the other? she won't be in his cabinet she's still saying he's unfit, she won't be a Democratic VP pick because she's not popular enough in the party so there is nothing for her to gain by taking either side. It's really hard to see what angle if any she's playing here, maybe she really believes what she's saying?

That being said I do think it's stupid for her to keep saying it has to be bipartisan, you'll never get that to happen with this POTUS and if you look at Clintons impeachment which was for lying to a grand jury and abuse of power not a blow job you'd see that all but 5 dems stuck with him when he was guilty of the charge. When we are dealing with 435 members total it's hardly a bipartisan stance when 5 people join the other side IMO. I'm just sick of people sticking with their party over what's right, same with dems who keep sticking up for Biden and his son, just say that wasn't illegal and inappropriate and move on don't twist yourself in a knot trying to pretend it looks all squeaky clean.

The Republicans rally around their own no matter what. That's why they win elections. Look at how anti-Trump most of the party was early in the primary. Once they realized that he was a lock to win, they all fell in line. They present a unified front.

In a perfect world, people within a party could greatly disagree and have intelligent dialog, but in the face of what we're up against, that weakens us.

What Tulsi did and has been doing is grandstanding against the party. She's either doing it as a desperate cry for attention, or she's actively working with forces aligned with Trump.

There is still far too high a chance Trump wins a second term. Just look at his daily approval numbers going back to Dec 15th. Approval is rising and disapproval is falling. It has gone from 40 to 45% in the past month or so. Granted the data is a few days behind, but it isn't likely that impeachment is going to do a thing to his cult.

Democrats need to stop fighting and figure out who polls best against Trump in the states that the Electoral College makes important. As impeachment is announced, Trump is ranting in front of an arena full of people in Michigan.

We're not going to beat Trump if it is perceived we can't even unite our own side.

Saying everybody is bad really ultimately helps Trump because it brings everyone down to his level. When you clearly believe the Democrats position to be the right one and you don't side with them because...reasons? There is no defense.

Nobody on the Dem side talks about Biden and his son because nobody cares and nobody should care. Any discussion of it gives credibility to what Trump did.

Anyone that doesn't believe Tulsi just wants to hurt the Democrats is blind. Yes I know Hillary is the devil and she attacked Tulsi therefore Tulsi must be great.

The Republicans do an amazing job of baiting people into repeating their talking points. At one point Trump tweeted that he shouldn't be impeached because the stock market is doing so well. Democrats answered back saying "a great economy shouldn't cover your crimes!". Really? You just conceded that Trump is good for the economy? That's a great way to lose votes.

Now we've seen it all. Christanity Today is a "far left magazine."

This is why I don't get why anyone supports Trump. Trump will turn on anyone or any organization that dares to cross him.

A Republican senator/ war hero? A Christian magazine? Nobody is safe. Trump is your one and only truth now.

I simply don't understand how intelligent people cannot see the immense danger. I get that some people are too naive to see it, but not everyone is in that group.

Don't they see how anyone can be next? Trump doesn't scare me, but the people willing to lick his boots do.

I'm still in with Warren after last night, but I am getting the real impression that Klobuchar may end up being the candidate. I'm really impressed by how much Yang has grown as a candidate, too - he was pretty stiff and forced in the first debates but he's really come on. From the little bit of MSNBC I heard this morning on my way to work, though, it seems like they're really starting to push Klobuchar as, well, as George Conway put it, the Goldilocks candidate - not too old or young, left or right, all that. I know how she takes care of s*** in the Judiciary Committee, though, and if the nominee is a centrist, I think she's my pick.

Still not impressed with Tulsi's act. I imagine her in the Situation Room, in a crisis, and the question is put to her: "Madame President, it's now or never. Are we go or no go?" and I see her responding "I'm here."

Dude, Jesus was a radical liberal from the Middle East who incited his followers to bring down the Jewish government. No Christian in good conscience could support that.

And I forgot to mention that Biden looked better last night, but there's always a part of me that worries he'll end up doing something stupid like deciding to go for the Midwestern farm vote by starting a foundation to help kids learn to farm and then name it something like "Hoes4Kids".

The media has been pushing Klobuchar for a while, it doesn't hurt that she's gotten far more speaking time during the debates than her polling would suggest she should. I just don't find her to be someone that would inspire anyone, she's dry and boring and doesn't have any bold ideas that I've heard of.

😂

"Look, there is no question in my mind that Donald Trump is unfit to serve as president and commander in chief. I've said this over and over again," Gabbard told hosts Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti. "I am running for president to defeat him for that reason.

I think he's talking about the manufacturing of windmills. As if temporary pollution from that process means its bad or invalidates it?
He heard a snippet of a story and ran with his usual uninformed rant with hopes his low IQ base hears it.

Trump just violated federal law by outing the whistleblower on his twitter account.

The Whistleblower Protection Act of 1989, 5 U.S.C. 2302(b)(-(9), Pub.L. 101-12 as amended, is a United States federal law that protects federal whistleblowers who work for the government and report the possible existence of an activity constituting a violation of law, rules, or regulations, or mismanagement, gross waste of funds, abuse of authority or a substantial and specific danger to public health and safety. A federal agency violates the Whistleblower Protection Act if agency authorities take (or threaten to take) retaliatory personnel action against any employee or applicant because of disclosure of information by that employee or applicant

Yeah, if she wants to never vote on things that pass the House, she should run for Senate as a Trumpublican.
