They are really being terrible at politics here too. The bill was a compromise but they negotiated behind closed doors when they should have done it publicly so they could at least made them the GOP look bad. Or just pass whatever they want and make the GOP have to justify not passing it. Hopefully they get their s*** together. Just pass this and let the GOP make the next move

Start high with your first offer I guess. I can't imagine they agree to any more than $1K per person and $500 per child.

One thing that should be included is no penalties on late mortgages. Not sure if it's in there.

Edit: read it. It's in the proposal.

C'mon don't buy into that stuff, impeachment was a big waste of time and now she's trying to make it so people don't get direct cash but wants it to be part of unemployment and some kind of tax BS. It's overly complicating things and Trump will be looked at as the guy who wanted to give people cash directly while the dems wanted them to have to go through hoops to get help.
 
Sometimes I think calling this the Chinese Virus or even China's Virus is apt because the communist party tried to censor it or silence people speaking out about it. I feel like these officials should be charged with the equivalent of a War Crime and shot.

Yet, we're also learning some people in our government did have enough info and sense to know something was up now, but did nothing.

Say that it originated in China, not a China virus. You know how racist many of supporters are. There's no need to give them more fuel to fuel their racism.

It will be frustrating to see Trump's approval ratings go up as the country rallies together knowing his incompetence made it worse.

Thoughts and prayers to Joe Biden for the mess he is going to inherit.

But your post is fake news. They didn't do nothing. They sold their stocks and made serious bank.

Insider Trading, they had info that they did not share with rest of of the people, after what I see they pretended everything was all fine and then sold their stocks to make a profit.

Pretending everything was fine makes it 10x worse but I doubt there will be consequences.

Calling it a "Chinese" virus is a way to shift blame away from Trump. Not only will he never accept any blame, he'll blame the Democrats for somehow preventing his impossible ideas.

He wants people to think that this could have been prevented by this notion of "stronger borders", as if a wall in Texas was going to keep out a virus from China, Asia, and Europe.
 
I don't like Trump but I have no problem with him calling it Chinese virus or anything of the sort. They caused this mess that is going to ruin a lot of American lives. I personally watched 50 people lose their jobs today because if it. In the aftermath of all this the world should make a drastic economic pullback from China.

The problem with it isn't that they don't deserve the blame its that he is using it to distract from his incompetence.

I don't see that this time. I think he is using it to place blame this time which is warranted. It doesn't change my opinion of him.
