I love how the argument with Trump taking the drug comes down to:
-either he's really stupid
-or a massive liar who doesn't care who might do what he says he does and become ill

What a wonderful world we live in.

When I first saw a twitter post about Trump taking that drug, I figured it was a goof. Then I saw it on the Washington Post... my god. We've hit peak stupid.

I'll never understand how the right has pulled off the ultimate con. "Don't trust anyone in big government!" "Except us of course, we know everything and only have your interests in mind!" They control the White House, Senate, and at one point the House, but yet they are still fighting this "deep state".

There's something with Michigan being the new right wing red herring. My dad is constantly going off about "all the problems in Michigan" and I have no idea where he gets it from (neither of us live there).

No offense to you, but you're father is easily manipulated and basically for all intents and purposes, brain dead.

Anything he hears from right wing media is immediately accepted the absolute truth. Anything trump says is the absolute truth.

For as much as right wingers follow conspiracy theories, they lack any actual ability to question, self reflect, or learn.

For some reasons millions of people have lost the ability to actually critically think and research.

You have absolute knowledge at your finger tips to learn, but millions of people are entrapped by grifters and conspiracy theories.

Now republicans are going to say that subpoenas matter and are enforceable. f***ing hypocritical c***s. This is only to attack biden and because they are racist pieces of s*** that need to make Obama look bad since Trump will go down in modern history as one of the worst presidents ever.

Somebody, I forgot who, said something I pretty much agree with. "I'm not voting for Joe Biden, I'm voting for his cabinet".
All we're voting for is someone to rebuild the government and return to normal. Biden's team is going to have to comb though every inch of government and fill positions, as well as root out the Trump sycophants. That's 4 years of work alone to just unf*** what Trump did.

And unlike Trump, Biden will have a competent team around him and isn't going to rage fire them if they look at him funny.

Democrats have to get together and mount a really strong anti-GOP campaign and not just focus on Trump and coronavirus.

I think they are going to have a really tough time even winning the Presidency sadly. Not being able to campaign could crush them. Trump will be on the news every hour on the hour. One of the big reasons Hillary lost is because she barely campaigned.

Democrats need to get a really strong narrative out there to the middle class convincing people that this GOP nonsense isn't good for them.

Trump being on the news every hour hasn't been a good thing so far. Its a big reason Biden has such good leads despite not being a fraction as visible. Any normal Republican would probably be a really solid favorite because they would have rallied the country around them during a crisis.

The real concern is how easy is it going to be to vote? If we get a spike around the election than all bets are off in terms of people being comfortable going and standing a line. When you consider the voter suppression that exists anyway its a real concern.
