I have no idea what you're getting at, only that what I said ticked you off. (ironically enough, just like 99% of twitter threads)

I think he saying most of the things people say are SJWs you wouldn't really consider to be as bad as racists

President Barack Obama granted Danielle Metz clemency in 2016. Out of prison, she made the dean’s list in college. She wished she could thank Obama for his help.

In a story published Monday in USA TODAY, Metz expressed her gratitude toward the former president.

“You don't know what you did for me,” she imagined herself telling him. “I’m finally coming into my own. I made the honor roll.”

This week, Obama wrote her a letter, wishing Metz all the best going forward.

“I am so proud of you, and am confident that your example will have a positive impact for others who are looking for a second chance,” Obama wrote to Metz. “Tell your children I say hello, and know that I’m rooting for all of you.”

Metz was arrested in 1993 for drug offenses related to her husband’s cocaine trafficking ring. At 26, she was sentenced to three life sentences plus another 20 years.

In federal prison, Metz earned her GED. She began writing letters and making appeals for her freedom. In 2016, Obama released her, and Metz enrolled in Southern University in New Orleans the following year. At 50 years old, she was a college freshman.

More red flags that a recession is coming

The slump in Singapore - often seen as a bellwether for the health of the global economy - is the latest evidence that momentum has slowed across Asia as the year-long U.S.-China trade war and sliding growth weigh on the region’s export-reliant economies.

I listen to Tim Pool, and he thinks highly of Tulsi Gabbard. He ran down her stances on various issues, and I'd agree with most of them (progressive tax, anti-war, pro-choice). I like that she's ex-military. Not sure what she did in the service. If I were to vote for a democrat at this point, I'd probably vote for her. But of course she won't win. She gets hardly any attention.

The rest seem like identitarians to me, so I can't vote for that. I imagine we're going to be left with Biden as the democratic candidate. From what I can tell, he's a back-slapper and not very sharp. I can't vote for him. Too much Hillary and Obama rub-off, and he seems like a weasley politician to me, a nice guy but ineffective. I guess Biden will get votes from the more moderate democrat base and the never-Trumpers, so he'll have a constituency. I just don't see him as a strong candidate.

I imagine I'll be voting for Trump at this point. The democrats look like a bunch of idiots to me, tbh. Free healthcare coverage for illegal immigrants, lol. De-criminalize border crossings. Crazy.

Just in time for a democrat to hopefully take office and republicans will blame it on them.

They'll start screaming about the deficit as soon as a Democrat wins, even before inauguration. They did it with Obama and they'll do it again, and the rubes that vote Republican will once again not understand that the damage that Republican economics causes doesn't hit for a couple of years.

I listen to Tim Pool, and he thinks highly of Tulsi Gabbard. I saw her on Rogan's podcast. I like what Tim said about her stances on various issues. Socially liberal. She's ex-military but also very much in favor of diplomacy rather than war or even sanctions. I like the use of sanctions, so that put me off a bit, but if I were to vote for a democrat at this point, I'd probably vote for her. The rest seem like identitarians to me, so f*** 'em.

The big problem with sanctions is that they are intended to curb bad behavior, but often end up doing the opposite. Economic sanctions hit these countries hard and end up destabilizing them. Iran is the perfect example. They are doing bad things, so putting sanctions on them is perfectly logical (and obviously preferable to war). However, we hurt their economy and end up causing more extremist sentiment. What we see is Iran trying to build nukes and us being the good guys trying to prevent that. What the average Iranian sees is his economy in the toilet because of us.

Gabbard hired a russian agent as her publicist. One that is tied to illegal lobbying.

Free healthcare for illegal immigrants was stupid. That would never happen.

I don't see Biden or Bernie winning. Warren is who I see coming out on top. Maybe Harris.

Castro is MY #1 thus far.

When the fields narrows, you'll see them differentiate themselves.

Anybody got a TLDR on the Acosta Epstein thing? I've been out of the loop
epstein raped children and sold them to people. acosta sent him to "prison" for dozens of rapes and trafficking, for 18 months. His "prison" was where he could go home 6 days out of the week to "work." Deal also prohibited rape victims from ever talking about being raped by epstein. They also couldn't sue epstein. They couldn't do anything. Deal was made without consulting with rape victims who testified.

Ding ding. Let's not conflate people who complain with racists.

The reasons people vote for Trump are rarely the same as the reasons they say out loud.

I do agree with you on this. With enough time the reasons usually slip out. Frankly I find it surprising anyone would admit to even consider voting for Trump. After all the crimes, betrayals, lies, bone headed decisions, and so much more.

F*** people like Paul Ryan. His career needs to be over. I bet he's positioning himself for 2024 doing this. Slimy, two faced piece of #2.

We not only need to beat Trump, but get as many seats in the Senate as well.

I am very certain trump raped women and raped children. Having said that, I don’t see anything wrong with this video. A lawsuit over this will weaken other people’s allegations when they are far more real.

Democrats need to look at this and think too. Gee, why are they sending Pence down for these photo ops? Normally Trump deflects from anything negative?

They want you talking immigration.

Dems need to move on from only talking about the border at some point, that can't be the focus of the next debate. Yes it's a huge deal and things need to improve but they aren't in power and can't do anything about it and while most of the blame does rest on the republicans most Americans look at that and think "how sad, I hope it gets fixed' or "well we can't just let everyone in" and not "We have to focus all of our attention on that until something changes"

I'm also getting a little tired of AOC, I believe she's right about a lot of things but she's not going to help us win the white house if all she does is suck up all of the oxygen on the Democratic side, I'm also not thrilled with her playing the race card against that do nothing Pelosi. Yeah Pelosi sucks but her talking about that "squad" has nothing to do with their race it has to do with them having a different agenda, AOC also pulled the gender card against that ass hat Ben Shapiro when he wanted to debate her, that is weak and lazy IMO.

Would it be worth looking at the effects of our trade policies on Mexico or South American countries? Nobody likes NAFTA and maybe make the case its been bad for people south of the border as well and triggering the immigration issue. Throw in the effects of the War on Drugs as well.

Maybe shift the discussion to addressing root causes of the immigration wave in the first place.
