WTF Kevin!

This should surprise me, but still this point it doesn’t. Most of the people with these type of views have never been to a poor country (not that we don’t have a poor class in the US). And while most of them are born into it, or born with some type of privilege, they are completely removed from how a large % of people live.

I’d never agree with him anyways, but after going to some of those places personally years ago, the reality of what some people deal with every day is unreal.

And in the same vein, I find most people Trump fans, whether they as rich or not, have very little first-hand experience with other cultures. Often from small, isolated towns, (born/raised/die there), and without any new ‘input’, the views and values just stay the same from generation to generation.

Which is why he (and right wing media) plays up the fear mongering and job stealing rhetoric so much. People are scared of what they don't understand, and he plays their game. It works all too well.

Is Buttigieg gonna come out of this as the primary winner? He's gaining a lot of momentum. His insurance policies will resonate better than Warren's. He's within the margin of error for national polls.

It'd be nice to see. One of my best friends from college is his southeast regional organizing director, so I see a lot about him that impresses me.

If he won Iowa he can have some serious momentum but the guy has about 2 black supporters about this point and that might be generous.

Kentucky governor's race is a toss up poll wise. It would be awesome to flip that cousin f***er state.

Virginia completely flipped blue
This is absolutely huge. If for nothing else besides drawing up the voter redistricting lines for 2020.

While the Dems have the House of Delegates, State Senate, and The Governor we will probably see the following happen:

Equal Rights Amendment signed
Raised minimum wage (it's only $7.25 here, which was raised from $5.15 in like 2009)
Voting law and registration changes
Decriminalizing the green, maybe even controlled sales. They've been changing the laws little by little on who can buy medical, might go all out while they have the power to.

It's going to be revolutionary for the state.

Kentucky doing their best to subvert democracy and just keep the loser Republican governor.
