That's the unfortunate problem of winning a tough primary vs winning the general. The reality is even if a more left leaning candidate wins the big election and the Democrats take over congress, congress is still going to be an anchor for the middle. Obama barely got ACA passed.
I like Warren a lot, but I also assume that her plans will be watered down between now and if she's elected.
That's why I like left leaning candidates, at least their starting point in negotiations is far enough left that when they do move towards the middle we are still getting something close to what we wanted vs doing the same old republican light we've been doing the past 20 years. Hillary's ideas were mostly already in the center and those on the right would have just pulled her even further before they did any type of compromise, same thing will happen with Biden or any other centrist.
