"NORTH CAROLINA, USA — With just two weeks until the U.S. 2020 Presidential Election, more than 1.5 million people in North Carolina have already voted through either absentee ballot or early voting -- and 22% of those voters did not vote in the 2016 general election.
As of Sunday, November 18, at 5:30 p.m., a total of 1,513,626 people have voted in the key swing state of North Carolina, according to the
NC State Board of Elections. About 900,000 votes have been cast at early one-stop voting, and 600,000 cast via absentee ballot."
"Out of those who have already voted in NC, 46% are registered Democrats, 25% are registered Republicans, 29% are registered Independents.
Another interesting data point - about 22% of people who have voted so far in the state did not vote in the 2016 general election."
