We need guys like this being groomed for the future of the democratic party. I have had about enough of the old hats.

Everyone knows who’s behind The Lincoln Project. They’re only being used to unseat the Orange a******. Once he’s gone, they’ll be looked at upon who they really are.

I don't think they will as people will fall in love with normal republicans but what are you going to do? Its going to happen regardless so its an enemy of my enemy type thing.

And they make great ads

The enemy of my enemy is my friend until our enemy is gone.

Democrats need to take note. They’re not anywhere near as creative.

Fall in love with Republicans? So now George W. Bush, for example, is a saint because he doesn't like Trump. They were winning because of voter suppression before Trump.

Republicans have been trash for a very long time so no arguments from me

My point is people will make the mistake and ignore or forget that and that that will happen with or without TLP

This country needs a conservative party. At some point, we have to hope that the crazy gets run out of the party and that normal, "classic" Republicans take over.

The only thing worse than a 2 party system is a 1 party system.

After Romney lost, the GOP did a study and started to realize that it needed to change to modernize and move forward.

Unfortunately, Trump happened, and they did the exact opposite of what they planned (moving away from racism and the rich, white man party)

I don't believe they will run the crazies out. We will just get Trumps who don't tweet something stupid every 5 minutes.

And I won't long for the days of slightly less terrible Republican Presidents even if I would prefer one today.

That's what I'm afraid of too, they'll just be smarter and not be so blunt as Trump. They'll just go back to quietly talking about the 47% or whatever dog whistles they use.

I don't agree with that because many people will be in economic peril and Republicans will be railing against them getting any sort of meaningful relief.

We'll go back to the same one party system we had before Trump, two wings of the establishment party. Somehow Obama came up with the same health plan as Mitt Romney.

That study said that they needed to appeal to more minorities and young people. They decided they were better off just increasing their voter suppression efforts instead. Trump didn't just happen, that is who the Republicans are. Trump's losing now because his base needs another stimulus check and Republicans made it clear they didn't want to do that.

I think the exact opposite will happen because now Trump has given them a blueprint for winning Republican primaries.

"The thing is, all of these programs, there’s always somebody who’s deserving. (But) everybody in this room knows somebody who is gaming the system," Paul said.

The proof? Look no further than the diagnoses landing people on disability, he added.

"Over half the people on disability are either anxious or their back hurts. Join the club," he said to laughter. "Who doesn’t get up a little anxious for work every day and their back hurts? Everybody over 40 has a little back pain." - Source

A couple years later this guy body slams Rand Paul and causes him to need back surgery and later have his lung removed. Had he not hurt his back he probably would be the leading Republican candidate for President in 2024. And he was one of the main people pushing alternative facts about this pandemic.

They will just blame Biden and stay home November 2022

And that's if we are lucky

f*** rand paul. Guy should have hit that mother f***er harder.

😍

It is amazing how the Trumpers are believing this story when the person who started it is in jail for fraud. And Bannon is promoting it and he has been charged with fraud also. Then Rudy is under investigation for working with a Russian spy to "get this reliable" info. The Republicans have no bottom that they won't stoop to.

"NORTH CAROLINA, USA — With just two weeks until the U.S. 2020 Presidential Election, more than 1.5 million people in North Carolina have already voted through either absentee ballot or early voting -- and 22% of those voters did not vote in the 2016 general election.
As of Sunday, November 18, at 5:30 p.m., a total of 1,513,626 people have voted in the key swing state of North Carolina, according to the NC State Board of Elections. About 900,000 votes have been cast at early one-stop voting, and 600,000 cast via absentee ballot."

"Out of those who have already voted in NC, 46% are registered Democrats, 25% are registered Republicans, 29% are registered Independents.
Another interesting data point - about 22% of people who have voted so far in the state did not vote in the 2016 general election."

I'm one of 'em baby, except for the not voting in 2016 part.

Got my vote done this morning. Only took about a half hour, but it helps living in a red county in a state with a red governor who doesn't want to suppress this county.
