The Flash - Flashpoint Paradox - June 16th 2023 **SPOILERS**

As a whole I thought it was really good. Cast was great, had some laughs throughout, had some scenes that got me in the feels, and the action scenes were kick a**. Keaton knocked it out the park in this.

I would be down for a new Keaton Batman movie!

Yo….

those cameos the internet lied to me lol

, the Batman fighting scenes were dope, like Batman at his prime, the way the camera followed him and with other characters for the fight scenes were great, even one of the chase scenes. Oh I will be a bit nit-picky, the

fight scene near the end with supergirl I felt the camera was a bit too far, I get they were trying to capture her speed but it felt a lil walk with what they were trying to convey with strength, speed, and impact.

I loved it, it was fun, but

it did leave a lot of questions unanswered.
will watch again, sadly I got a theater that it’s sound seemed a bit off, mostly mids to lows, like when I saw across the spider spiderverse 😆

Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah I thought the 3rd act was not as epic as we originally had. Also that tweet about Sasha saying SG stuff was cut and was shorter in the silo fight was true. Hopefully we get a directors cut. She f**ked dudes up, crushes one soldiers helmet, (along with his head inside 😂), and generally smashes the crap out of all the Russian guards.

What did y’all originally have in mind for the 3rd act? I thought it was fine.

You should tell who ever that the less Flash they have and more they have of everybody else the better it will be.

My siblings and I were debating/arguing over how it works, the last five minutes of this video explains it best, if you’ve seen it….

There are SPOILERS!!!

Its got some horrible parts like the beginning with the babies, the younger flash can be annoying, and the CGI is pretty bad but its mostly enjoyable. Batman and Supergirl are really good and its a very easy watch. Restarting makes sense but the original planned future of Henry Cavill as Superman, Keaton as Batman, and Supergirl added with the rest would have been really good.

At the minimum at least it doesn't feel like it was made by ai like most of the recent MCU offerings.

The CGI was sort of all over the place. There are times it looks good, but they are terrible at human faces.

Think most of the budget went on putting Ezras face on the stand in.

The ending bit

should have just used archived footage from films/shows rather than have them just standing still looking like PS1 characters.
Also strange that the focus was mainly on different versions of Superman.
Why not show the other Batman's? Flash? Hell they could have even used the animated stuff and just given it a filter.

Most of the CGI is fine. The baby scene was just OTT and funny IMO and the sort of ridiculous a Flash film should have.
But him running towards Gotham at the start looked really bad. Like it was done the day before it released. And poor choice of music didn't help.
Doubt we will ever get to see the original cut.

Really liked, loved the choice in visuals personally. It gave everything a otherwordly feel that I enjoyed, and while at first I wasn't as into Flash's running style, it grew one me and part of that is them explaining that he does that to keep control and shows what happens when he arounds Speedy Gonzalez style. The multitude of cameos, appearances, and references were a blast to watch, but also not required to know and still be enjoyable. Really loved their explanation of time as well, maybe I just watched one too many shows/movies try to explain the specifics of timelines and how they work, but this hit the spot for me. I'll also admit the ending had me teary eyed. Shame Ezra is a bit of a malevolent person, because he could have had an amazing career, but he flushed that down the drain for himself. Wish the film did better, but what can you do with something that's been in production for so long. Glad I saw this in theaters before it went away. For a movie that can't make it's budget back, it was surprisingly packed in the theater. Bare in mind, I watched this last weekend.

They f***ed it over by announcing the DCU reboot which just killed any interest
