I watched that earlier. I can't imagine anyone wanting to be punished by playing with the permadeath thing.

I still haven't opened this game yet. :meh:
It looks like I'm gonna need it for this fall, since AC is the only remaining game that I care for this year.

I'm pretty far into it. The gameplay, graphics and presentation are a 9.5/10 for me. However, it is really starting to lose me. The gameplay is starting to feel repetitive, the story is dragging on and involving characters I don't care about, and I'm really getting tired of the flashbacks where you are basically in Quantic Dream levels of interaction. If they had just wrapped up the story by the 12-15 hour mark it would have been better served.

Pretty much every game has that effect on me. I usually leave the game for a few months and come back to finish it. Pretty much every AC game never was finished until 6 months after starting it.

I just finished the game yesterday evening and more than once, audibly, did I say, "Are we seriously not done yet??" I swear there were four or five times I thought the game was going to come to a conclusion and it just kept going.

I appreciate the effort, detail and content, but at some point it felt like I was playing the director's cut of Apocalypse Now. It's undeniably great, but too long, too dark, and I doubt I'll ever play it again.

10/10 for me, or close to it. Was spoiled by many of the leaks sadly. Game may have been a tad too long but I appreciated the journey, and the story was incredibly grim but also had many moments of light. I got the message loud and clear.

Havent stopped thinking about it since I beat it. Last game to have that effect was RDR2.

Game was trash IMO. The first game was leaps and bounds better in everything but graphics.

Overall, the first story was perfect. There were parts in 2 that I enjoyed. I enjoyed the relationship with Abby and the 2 kids. In fact, I started to enjoy Abby's story more than Ellie's.

Yeah, should've left it at number 1 and just work on next gen uncharted.
Agreed. I will take Uncharted 6 over these any day of the week. Nathan/Chloe/Sam story and game play > any of the TLOU.

No more Nathan and no more ND Uncharted. Uncharted 5 with fresh characters from a fresh studio is the way to go.

I'm sure ND will do Part III but they should move on to a new IP after that

Still haven't touched it.
Waiting to see if Sony is stabbing everbody by charging for PS5 upgrades and I am waiting on the MP.

Same. I played the first 15 or 20 mins, mostly was cut scenes. Waiting for an upgrade patch, assuming it will actually get one.

The beginning of the game is a lot of cutscenes, but once you get out of the intro and into the first chapter it goes down. I highly recommend playing it all the way through.

Get ready for lots of salt as it wins all the awards this year
