The Last Of Us Series Clicks It’s Way To HBO Max - Season 2 Delayed Cos Pedro Pascal In High Demand

So it's caused by...

Flour

The show had the 3 main characters avoid it at the start for one reason or another to the point it felt like the show was hitting you over the head with it.

Did they ever explain what started it in the games?

Also in the food and airborne spores. In the prologue of the game, there were newspapers showing food recalls by the FDA to try and reduce infections but it was too late.

Watched it last night. I thought the premiere episode was great. My wife really wasn’t that hyped to watch it, by the end she was into it. For me this world and upcoming journey has me intrigued. Good cast.

Not knowing much about the games, how many seasons can they get out of this?

Probably 3-5 depending of if TLOU 3 releases in a reasonable time frame.

Sure I read they are only planning 3 at the most.

That was dumb. You know what part I'm talking about.

Other than that it was an okay episode.

They said they won't go beyond the games but it could be 2026 before a third season even exists so a third game would have to at least be close at that point. Can't imagine Sony wouldn't do everything they could to capitalize on this likely popularity.

Reckon it will be like House of the Dragon and Westworld (RIP) and be at least 2 years between each season.
Maybe HBO plan to jump between this and Dragon which is also only going to be 3 maybe 4 seasons.

Well if it takes 2 years than TLOU 3 should certainly be in the picture so 4 or 5 seasons would be likely

Really impressed by the production values and effects in this series so far, cool to see both a video game and horror show have such a high budget.

Now they will for sure adapt the incredible part 2

My partner never got into the games but she liked episode 1 . I downloaded episode 2 and we will likely watch it this week sometime. I love how they expanded on the original source so it was like a different take sometimes but it gave us more information in the world building too that was not known in the game.

Pedro is the perfect Joel. Bella I'm still reserving Judgment for but so far she's doing okay. I find it amusing that her real life personality is kind of like Ellie though with all the pronouns neutrality.

Yeah, there's a few things and scenes that doesn't go as the game, but I'd say this is a great start. I had a hard time looking at the r****d looking actress that plays Ellie, but I'm starting to look past that and she does a good job.

I did not like the beginning of the 2nd episode. It was just stupid and pointless.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer has praised HBO's The Last of Us Series, saying he thinks a successful video game adaptation is a great moment for the industry.

In a new interview with IGN, Spencer said the show is "fantastic" and he thinks the team behind The Last of Us have done a great job transferring the story from the original PlayStation video game to a television drama, calling out Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann in particular.

Well, it's fantastic...and I also think that the fact that Neil himself has played a role...to see him applying his creative talents in the TV space I think is really great. It's great for him, it's great for the team
The fact that Neil himself has played a role, obviously in the creation of the game and the franchise, but see him applying his creative talents in the TV space, if that's even what we call it anymore, video space, television space, I think is really great.

i didnt like eps 3... had to wait a week for that s***? and now gotta wait again?
