The Mandalorian: A Star Wars Series - UPDATE Season 4 Confirmed

eh. Boba Fett is long dead so I’m not sure how that’s possible.
So was Palpatine and Darth Maul
But Boba Fett has literally survived in previous canon since the 90s, at least in comics and books. I haven't read Aftermath, but it's hinted that he survived in current canon too.

Frankly, Boba Fett has survived in my own head-canon since I saw RotJ at 9 years old. He was way too much of a badass to die from getting knocked into a pit by a blind man, while wearing a jetpack, and being digested over a thousand years. Unlike Maul and Palpatine, I say he's more likely to have survived than not.

But Maul and Palpatine had space magic. Boba is jusst a dude, right? No space magic.

Plus, Palpatine was obviously going to live given the subject matter between he and Anakin.

Bringing back Boba feels like a gimmick to me. The first season was so good because it didn't rely on the past to work. It was just a new story set in the same universe.

I hate to tell people too, but Boba was not a character. He had a handful of speaking lines. He's a guy in armor that looked cool and could have done all sorts of cool things, but didn't.

They are uusing season 2 to launch spin offs, me thinks.

No space magic? OK, how about him just being a Bad Motorfinger Bounty Hunter! He had the flame shooties, and he can go jetpak-flyin, and the missle on his pack he never had to use... YET! Vader said "No Disintegrations!" Why? He knew he was a Bad Motorfinger Bounty Hunter!

It's called being a mysterious character, and people dig it, and want to find out more about him. Now he's not even a real Mandalorian, in canon. I want to know more backstory about this guy. I've wanted more Boba since I was a kid. George sold him short in the OT. Even his animated segment in the SW Holiday Special was the only cool thing about that, promising he would be a major villain, as he was originally supposed to be. The way I see it, Boba Fett will be like the anti-Mando in the series. I'm so down for the showdown!!!

A proper bad motorfinger would use that missile.

They just set him up so well in Empire, with even Vader having to check him, just to have him go out like a turd in Jedi. You would think that someone with a giant missle, flame thrower, and jetpack (and a little skill) could make it out of the Sarlaac. Just saying.

At this rate, we are going to get Mandalorian Season 3 before Obi-Wan season 1. I think that it's definately a possibility, anyway.
