The Mandalorian: A Star Wars Series - UPDATE Season 4 Confirmed

Watched first episode last night. I liked it, pretty much a western in space. Interested in seeing where this goes.

So this takes place between ROTJ and TFA?

Hedon I wanted that to be his sidekick going forward lol.

that would been neat but a bit typical with previous Star Wars films and series.

i kinda want it to go differently like...

I want him to be a lone wolf on the run with that baby, like a sci-fi movie I never saw about a world with nothing but robots and one finds what it believes to be the last and its on the run from the others for they want it dead

Yee, I got some firefly/serenity vibes from it.
I just said this on the D+ Reddit. This show scratches that space western itch that only Firefly did since first watching Star Wars "A New Hope" as a child. It's hard to say this after only 2 episodes, but so far it's just perfect, as it's both narrow enough in scope, yet big enough in universe! I don't want to jinx it though.

Episode 3.... wow. No spoilers, just amazing. It shows that Disney can make quality Star Wars stuff with the right director and material.

Just finished watching all three episodes. What a fantastic show.

I mean, it's only 3 episodes in? Wouldn't it have been better women's news to bragg that the most excellent 3rd episode was the first ever female Star Wars director?https://www.menshealth.com/entertai...-mandalorian-star-wars-first-female-director/

Also, this woman has been in all the promotional material, but has yet to show up yet.

I never understood why people get all bunched up when there is a female role in something.

People treat it like a virus or something.

When there is a female role or isn't one?

Frankly I don't understand either outrage. Just let writers and directors make what they want, with the characters they want. I mean studios treat their properties as a product, so they might wanna look at demographics... but why does the public care, either way? Whiney b@tches everywhere! Stop freaking whining! There's more important things than your feelings of representation. Wah, this superhero movie has girls in it! Wah, this Star Wars movie has a black guy and a girl! Wah, this Star Wars show DOESN'T have girls! Wah, this sexual orientation isn't getting properly represented by Marvel! Grow up, people! For f@cks sake! It's stories! Let people tell stories without you trying to get on a soapbox that it isn't representing what you want! /Rant.
