The Master Chief Collection For PC, Announcement At GamesCom 2014?

Rumor mill in full swing just ahead of GamesCom 2014. Amazon has just listed Halo: The Master Chief Collection for our beloved platform PC. You can check out the snapshot of the listing below. This might just be a placeholder or an error from Amazon Spain, but who knows Microsoft might surprise PC gaming community with an official announcement.

MS have said they want to support PC gaming again so who knows but I remember a couple of months ago when they showed Forza 5 running on DX12 and people were wondering if it was coming to PC and MS said that no MS studio games would be heading to PC.
Personally I hope it does, MS need to start building bridges again with the PC gaming community and this would be a step in the right direction.
 
If this is true then my plans to buy an X1 for the MCC have been canceled.
 
This wouldn't be shocking.

They were teasing a Master Chief branded mouse a few days ago.
 
I guess I'd take it. Never played Halo 4 so this would be the only way to do so at this point.

You've just demonstrated why it wpuld be a bad idea for MS to do a PC version. Considering they are lagging behind the competition, it wouldn't make much sense to make your exclusives available on other platforms .

Its like telling people to NOT buy your dedicated gaming platform. Why buy an X1 if you can get all the games elsewhere? Especially since you've already diminished the major thing that made it different (kinect)
 
This isn't a good move for MS. They should keep it exclusively on the X1 if they want it to push sales.

On the other hand, I won't buy an X1 for this series but if it came to PC I'd buy it at some point. Sure console sale =/= game sale but they lose out completely in one scenario.
 
No chance in hell. Halo: The Master Chief Collection is going to sell some Xbox One systems. Microsoft wouldn't shoot themselves in the foot.
 
I'm going to chalk this one up for "highly unlikely".

I agree which is why I doubt it's coming to PC, but if so, I sure as hell will not buy an X1.
 
A possible PC port of old games and suddenly it matters again.

Microsoft may as well port it.Because according to our armchair analysts it won't move consoles anyway.

Yeah, okay. We believe you. When Gears of War 4 comes out and blows the industry away i bet you'll be crawling to the nearest store to get an Xbox One.

Maybe a year after, but I think a PC release would dampen their presumed intention of selling xbox ones. But who knows, maybe that's just a ridiculous notion.
 
Good news if true. It's a Microsoft platform of course, and more people would get to enjoy the series.

Seeing as the real talent behind the GoW games is now working on a PC only arena FPS I don't think we have much to worry about.
