Neo let Oracle Agent Smith beat him. I thought both were to die to kind of cancel each other out?
Little kid program asks if they'll ever see him again though and I think the Oracle says someday or something.
The Architect said Neo was just the current version of The One though. So.... does the pool of humans that power The Matrix come from somewhere? Are they all Clones? Could these actors come back for different versions of their characters?
The last time we see Neo is when the machine is hauling his body away. In that scene the machine city is shown the way the now blind Neo sees it, a city of light.
Who knows.
But if you go by what the architect says, then it seems most likely that Neo gets reinserted into the Matrix.

One of the strangest things is how far technology has come IRL since the first Matrix. Will they still use flip phones? I suppose younger audiences could accept these as needed for security or to be tossed away.

Maybe Samsung bendy screen folds with, imagine this, no crease at the seams...cos it’s holographic... but hopefully they stick to the old brick/flip phones

Video is wrong right off the bat. Agent Smith wasn't the start of anything, Neo was. Withou Neo Smith doesn't become what he becomes. Also, the downfall of the Matrix and humanity being freed also isn't down to Smith and once again it is about Neo.
The reason Smith became who he becomes is a result of Neo. Neo connection to humanity through Trinity forced the system to try and balance itself out. Without Neo Smith would have wiped out all humanity and the machines. Even the machines knew it.
Took all of 2:50 of the video for the theory to fall flat.
