Glad the season is mercifully over. Hopefully the cowboys will fire Garrett and Jerry will take a back seat and hire a GM. Who am I kidding. Garrett getting fired may actually happen. Jerry will never hire a GM.

Nope we have to put up with him till the day he dies. If he doesn’t fire Garrett I’ll watch the Texans next season.....
I'm done with them until they hire a real coach or Jerry dies. Whichever comes first. Tired of watching them be mediocre.

ESPN is no confirmation. They've reported in the last two days that the Jags fired Marrone before the Colts game, then that they were going to after, and now Shad Khan is meeting with the staff tomorrow. It's the misterxmedia of sports "journalism"

Jerry and Garret are reportedly meating today. So my guess is Jerry either wants Garret to resign so he doesnt have to fire him, or Jerry is extending Garret thru the end of the century.

The thing is, I think Garrett's contract is expired, so that's not it. I think it's more that Jerruh wants more media spotlight and letting Garrett twist in the wind does that.

And Go Gators! 11 wins this year and 10 last after the 4-7 season with Coach Sharkf***er.

And Garrett is still not fired. WTF is Jerry waiting on? You know what. f*** it. Keep Garrett. Its not like the next coach is going to allowed to coach anyway.

Jones doesn't have to fire him. His contract expired when the season ended - I don't think it's like player deals where they're technically still under contract until the new league year starts because there's no cap for coaches. The only way he coaches the Cowboys next season is if they actually sign a new deal, which you'd have to think is unlikely but who knows.

I got it... Jerry was just stalling to see if Patriots got beat then they let Brady go, he signs him, keeps Garrett, Super Bowl 2021.....

It was weird last night. I hate the Titans and I found myself hoping they would win. Belichick seems like he's lost a step too, maybe even more than Brady. Once they started using timeouts before the two minutes warning I knew they were not winning a super bowl this year.
