Absolutely. Do you have any idea how bad US cars are rated in Europe?

Almost every time they get reviewed they get laughed at. Genuinely.

Do you have any idea how good US cars are rated in the US, Australia, Africa, Middle East as well as China and Mexico? You realize that many of the American cars have better ratings both in reliability and performance compared to many of their European competitors? You know how many times I have been to Europe and been in European cars and laughed at the quality of materials used, including the latest Mercedes?

Yes, but I tend to find the US version of pretty much any car is an automatic version with horrific mpg and performance. When I was in the states I quite literally couldn't stop laughing at the cars. So many horrendous wagons cruising around.

And the fact that you think Mercedes are cheap speaks volumes.

I'm not trying to have an argument here by the way. It's just that I like my cars to go round corners and stuff

Here is my special lady. This is a 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. I would've loved to have gotten an American muscle RWD car but it's just not viable with the winters we have here in NE Ohio.

I put the rims, tint, intake and cat-back exhaust on her. As well as better brakes and painted the calipers blue. Oh and the pretty blue headlights. It's a 6-speed manual. Fast enough for me and decent enough in the winter. I'd lower it an inch or 2 if it weren't for the horrible pot holes in my area. Not worth bottoming out all the time. Next thing I want to do is overhaul the sound system. Maybe santa will be nice to me this year? :)

So tell me, people... When will America finally get a diesel option for the cars we love? It seems every car in Europe can be bought with either a petrol engine or a fuel efficient diesel. For some reason, America is against allow diesel cars to be produced despite the better gas mileage you get. 'Umericah.

They're coming, emissions standards have kept them from "light duty" applications for the most part. That and Americans perception of diesels have been pretty tarnished from the horrid diesels that the domestic made in the 80's.

They are coming. We are getting more and more each year. We just got a Cruze diesel this year too:

Better mileage than the all might VW Jetti TDI.

You going with a cat-back system of having it custom bent at a shop?

so far this is the only one I am considering, I like how it looks and sounds and wont break my budget

Looks nice. You installing it yourself? If so looks like it'll be a pretty easy job, the pipe sections look DIY friendly. I had to use some creative methods to get my exhaust up and over the rear axle. You'll enjoy it :) That vendor is pretty good too, I bought my rear 13" brake kit from them.

sadly no I will have it done just have to find a shop thst does the labor. I am hoping to get a GT back bumper too as I do not want to have to cut into my bumper for the other exhaust.

You should have them weld the sections together then, unless you plan in removing it. In my experience the band clamps don't seal the pipes together good enough, especially if the fitment is off at all. Nothing like the sound of a few minor exhaust leaks.

I have a 2012 Ford Fusion V6. It's black and has the upgraded rims and a sunroof. I got the windows tinted, but that's it. Good car, but I kind if miss my 05 4Runner AWD Sport.

those fusions are great cars but I really like the 3rd generation cars that are out now with that Aston Martin looking front end. My cousin has one with the V6 and all the goodies its hella nice :).

Yeah the 3rd gen Fusion is the nuts. My wife's friend has a Titanium model. The car is awesome, Ecoboost engine, and the interior is prolly one of the nicest in a domestic. IMHO the best midsize sedan available today

he wanted to get the eco boost model, but in the end he settled for the six banger and he is very happy with it. it is one of the fastest family sedans I have driven next to my dads 2012 Impala with the 300 hp direct injection 4 cam 6 (same engine they use in a lot of the Caddys as well as the base motor for the current gen Camaro).
