With a little time and effort you can build one from the Mobo up and save some bucks. Great learning experience too. I built mine around the black Friday deals and have done some upgrades now and again. Bought everything exclusively from Amazon and Newegg.

Anybody know how to get rid of screen tearing when playing video files via Nero 14 ? I got an AMD 6950 GPU.

Create a profile for Nero in the ATI CC and enable Vsync. That would be my guess.

That doesn't work.

I get no screen tearing when watching via Windows Media classic:HT

I'd check out the Nero forums (if they have any) for support. I use Cyberlink.

Try VLc player menace it's played everything I've thrown at it even broken video files.

I have VLC player. It is even worse with screen tearing. That is why I got WMPC:HT. Which IMO is much better

I've never had an issue with it... Is it just all video files or a specific format ala Avi,Mkv

Haven't tried many, but the same file has no tearing in WMPC:HT.

Another question.

If I have a 60Mb internet connection. Will a Powerline that does 90Mb be good enough ? I know it seems like an obvious yes, but with so many much higher units available it has me wondering.

That should be fine menace. I use a power line adapter and have noticed little to no effect on my internet speeds. I did have an issue when my missus put the electric fire on down stairs I would lose some speed though.
